Postdoctoral position in mathematics/systems in Spain
Description : In the next 2-3 years I intend to explore properties of systems in the quasi-static regime. To this end, I am looking for a post-doctoral candidate or visiting professor to spend a period of 1-2 years at the Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Barcelona collaborating with me in this topic. This is a basic research so that a good mathematical background of the candidate is desirable (especially a good knowledge of functional analysis). The way the stay of the candidate is financed is through Marie Curie People grants which are now open. Myself and the candidate will prepare a joint proposal to be presented by the end of July. The result will be announced previsibly in December. For this reason possible candidates are encouraged to contact with me as soon as possible. The candidate should have a PhD or is finishing very soon the PhD. The knowledge of Spanish is not required. The salary is equivalent to that of a full time permanent staff.
