Post-Doctoral Fellow
Description : A postdoctoral position is available in a newly opened laboratory in the Department of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, Roswell Park Cancer Institute. The research interest of the lab is on biochemical dissection of E3 ligases in cancer pathways using approaches including protein chemistry, biochemical purification, molecular and cancer cell biology and genetic screen with shRNA library. The ultimate goal of this lab is to develop anti-cancer drugs through identification and characterization of cancer relevant E3 ligases as potential drug targets. Applicants should possess a PhD degree and be highly self-motivated. Preference will be given to those who have previous experience in cancer biology, in vitro biochemical assays or in vitro cell-based assays and a record of publications in the related fields.
