Job Description : Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Atmospheric Chemistry-Climate Modeling:

Applications are invited for a postdoctoral position in atmospheric chemistry and climate modeling. The project aims to advance the understanding of climate-tropospheric-composition-chemistry interactions for different climate scenarios. The Postdoctoral Fellow will be part of a multi-disciplinary group of scientists and will interact closely with other group members working on tropospheric chemistry modeling and remote sensing. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated proficiency in atmospheric modeling, or prior research experience and/or interest in using global circulation models, and with computer programming and data analysis skills. Familiarity with F90 and parallel computation frameworks such as MPI and/or OpenMP is desirable. Because candidates are expected to work as members of an international team, it is required to have excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience, and is based on the CSIC salary scale.
