-PhD (or be about to obtain) in structural or biomechanical engineering

Scholarship Description: The post is funded by a Late-Stage Invention for Innovation grant to support the development of technology to enable the continuous monitoring of the internal eye pressure over a period of 24 hours. The project offers an exciting opportunity to apply structural engineering analysis tools in the challenging field of biomechanics. Candidates will have, or be about to obtain, a PhD in structural or biomechanical engineering and a strong background in structural engineering or biomechanics research. A track record in experimental testing and numerical simulation is desirable. The post is available for 3 years.
