Requirements: We seek a young researcher with excellent teamwork capacity and communication skills, flexible, with personal initiative and ability to innovate. The candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, or related areas. Mastery of English in all levels is essential, and knowledge of other languages desirable.

Preferably, applicants should be specialized and have proven experience in any of the following technical fields:

• Thermochemical conversion of biomass and wastes: pyrolysis and liquefaction of MSW-derived plastics, gasification of biomass and RDF, syngas conditioning.

• Heterogeneous catalysis: synthesis and characterization of novel catalytic materials for catalytic gasification, syngas catalytic conditioning, synthesis of liquid fuels (alcohols and light hydrocarbons), water-gas shift and steam-reforming reactions.

Candidates with excellent research expertise in catalysis and chemical reaction engineering, however, will also be considered and are encouraged to submit their applications.
