Postdoctoral Researcher-The Kiel Institute for the World Economy, Germany
The Kiel Institute for the World Economy is one of the leading and most reputed economic research institutes in Germany. It is associated with the University of Kiel (the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel), the Leibniz Community and the largest library for economic sciences in the world (the Zentralbibliothek für Wirtschaftswissenschaften).
We are seeking an is seeking an economist in its research area “Poverty Reduction, Equity, and Development“. The position can be filled immediately.
Candidates should have a Ph.D (or be close to completing it). We expect a well-founded knowledge of applied econometrics and an interest in development economics. Candidates must have a demonstrated potential to publish in high-ranking journals.
The position is a research position and need not involve any teaching. The work contract is initially for two years but may subsequently be extended. The salary is based on the German public service pay-grade EG 14.
