The Institute of Immunology of the Laboratoire National de Santé / Centre de Recherche Public-Santé in Luxembourg offers, at earliest convenience, a position for
1 Post-doctoral Scientist in Virology or Epidemiology (biologists, veterinarian, medical doctors)
We seek highly motivated applicants who enjoy working in a stimulating and international environment. A strong academic record and a keen interest/knowledge in virology of human and veterinary viruses are essential. Research projects focus on the antigenic and genetic variability of viruses (hepatitis virus, respiratory viruses including influenza and other human and avian viruses) including Avian influenza. The project includes epidemiological and surveillance aspects and the development of diagnostic strategies also in collaboration with partners in Africa and Asia.
Our Institute is well funded and fully equipped with top-of–the line instrumentation. Proficiency in English and scientific writing skills are a must. Candidates must apply with a complete English CV with detailed description of their laboratory experience etc. to

My thesis is on Influenza viruses. I have experiences as
a) Respiratory virus isolation in Tissue Culture on more than 3500 samples
b) Gen technique like HA, HAI, DFA, IFA, ELISA etc.
c) Multiplex RT-PCR for influenza viruses on more than 3500 samples.
d) Real-Time RT-PCR for influenza viruses on more than 300 samples
e) Multiplex RT-PCR for HSV on Diagnostic samples.
f) Multiplex RT-PCR for Flavivirus (Dengue,JEV,SLE,YFV ) on Diagnostic samples
If possible I would like to get scholarship on epidemiology in any European countries and USA. Kindly tell me about the duration, amount (rough Idea), Name of institute and Procedure, How to apply.
