Description:
A full-time postgraduate scholarship is available for a suitably qualified candidate to undertake research studies leading to a PhD in Decision Neuroscience. The project starts immediately and is focused on investigating the interaction of cognitive and emotional processes in decision-making in both human and non-human animal subjects. An interest in specific psycho- and neuropathology affecting cortical and basal ganglia function is an advantage.
Eligibility:
Applicants should have a good honours degree (or equivalent) in science. Applicants should be Australian citizens or Australian permanent residents. The successful applicant must commence by 30 July 2010.
Amount awarded:
The scholarship is valued at $26,140 per annum (tax exempt) and may be renewed for up to three years, subject to satisfactory progress.
