QUT Scholarships for Sri Lankan Students in Australia, 2017

Queensland University of Technology is pleased to offer Merit Plus Scholarship for Sri Lankan students. These scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate programme within Faculty of Science and Engineering.

The Queensland University of Technology abbreviated as QUT, is a public research university located in the urban coastal city of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia.

With the aim of providing the next generation of precision modular chemistry with regard to selectivity, (bio)orthogonality, control and efficiency, their team develop light-induced ligation protocols – highly selective with regard to wavelength, intensity and chemistry –for designing advanced adaptive functional macromolecular precision materials.

Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.

Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate programme at Queensland University of Technology.

Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded within Faculty of Science and Engineering at Queensland University of Technology.

Scholarship Award: Applicant will receive:

  • A fee scholarship of 25% of tuition fees for first semester of study at QUT
  • An ongoing fee scholarship of 25% per semester that you study at QUT, provided you meet the academic conditions.
  • These fee scholarships are in addition to the 25% fee scholarship for studies at QUT that you will receive for the International Merit Scholarship. This means that in total, you will receive a 50% fee scholarship for studies at QUT.

Eligibility: Applicant must

  • Be a Sri Lankan citizen
  • Have been offered the International Merit Scholarship for Semester 1, 2017
  • Have a minimum of 3 A grades if you completed GCE ‘A’ levels.

Nationality: Students from Sri Lanka can apply for these scholarships.

Entrance Requirement: To keep scholarship, applicant must maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 5.5 out of 7 on the QUT scale for the duration of their studies at QUT.

Test Requirement: No

English Language Requirements: Applicants from outside the home country will often need to meet specific English language/other language requirements in order to be able to study there.
