R&D Engineer-a Distributed System for Cloud Federation, France
Myriads research team, INRIA Rennes – Bretagne Atlantique research centre is looking for R&D engineer – a distributed system for cloud federation.
Job Description:
This position is proposed in the framework of the European Contrail Integrated Project (http://www.contrail-project.eu). Contrail is supported by the FP7 IST Programme. Contrail project aims at designing, implementing, evaluating and promoting an open source system in which resources that belong to different operators are integrated into a single homogeneous Federated Cloud that users can access seamlessly. Contrail will leverage the open source XtreemOS system (www.xtreemos.eu), developed in the successful XtreemOS European integrated project and which was designed for large scale dynamic infrastructures. INRIA is the project coordinator. The consortium is composed of 10 industrial and academic partners from 6 different countries.
The R&D engineer will participate in the research and development activities related to the design and implementation of a distributed operating system for federations of virtualized infrastructures that will be conducted by INRIA Rennes within the Contrail project.
