Advertisement for Recruitment of Junior Research Fellow in the Chemistry Department

Applications with complete Bio-data on plain paper along with relevant documents are invited for the post of ‘Junior/Senior Research Fellow’ to work for 3 years in the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), New Delhi, research project entitled “Mechanistic and conformational aspects of interactions of macromolecules with compounds of biological importance: spectroscopic and electrochemical studies”.

Qualification : For JRF: M. Sc. (Chemistry/Biochemistry) with minimum 55% marks. The candidates should have qualified in NET/GATE.

For SRF : NET/GATE qualified or non qualified, M. Sc degree(Chemistry/Biochemistry) possessing two years training in methods of research and aptitude for research.

Emoluments : For JRF: Rs.12,000/- p.m. + HRA as per rules

For SRF : Rs.14,000/- p.m. + HRA as per rules.

The candidates who have applied already for the said post in response to our earlier advertisement dated 6-1-09 will also be considered for selection and hence, they need not apply again. Intimation about the date of interview will be sent either telegraphically or by e-mail to the eligible candidates. No T.A / D.A. will be paid to the candidates appearing for the interview.
