Job Description: The University of Luxembourg has an opening in its Faculty of Science, Technology
and Communication for a:

Research Associate (M/F)

  • Ref: SPLIT – F1R-CSC-PMA-080216
  • 2-year contract, full-time (40h/week).
  • Expected start date: September or October 2010

The candidate will perform engineering activities in the context of the SPLIT research project (http://wiki.lassy.uni.lu/Projects/SPLIT) with a team of specialists in Software engineering in the following fields:
software product line (SPL), aspect-oriented software development (AOSD), Model Driven Engineering (MDE).

Tasks

  • Development of a toolset (CASE tool) to manage heterogeneous models
  • Development of tool-support for the validation of model composition
  • Development of a generic model composer
  • Experimental validation of the approach on case studies
  • Participate in technical and administrative tasks related to the project
    Profile

  • Master in Computer Science with specialization in Software Engineering
  • Strong background in one of the following area is considered as an asset:aspect-oriented modeling, software product line engineering, model-driven engineering
  • Good knowledge of model based testing , modeling techniques and metamodeling
  • Expert knowledge of UML (UML Profiles, MDE/MDA) / MDE / Model transformation, product lines and formal methods for Software Engineering
  • Fluent in English. French, German or Luxembourgish will be a plus
