Job Description: A post-doctoral Research Associate position is available in the Centre for Complement & Inflammation Research (CCIR), headed by Professor Marina Botto, at the Hammersmith campus in East Acton. This position is funded by the European Commission and is available until 30 April 2012. The aim of the project, supervised by Dr Matthew Pickering, is to develop a programme of work investigating the effects of inhibiting complement C5 activation in models of atypical haemolytic uraemic syndrome.
This post offers a unique opportunity to work within well-funded laboratories with international reputations in complement biology.
Candidates should hold a PhD in a relevant discipline. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience of complement biology.
