One Junior research fellow (JRF) position is available in the Chemistry Group of Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, for a DST funded project (tenure 3 years) entitled “Co-crystallization of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients: Pathway for Enhanced Properties”. The selected candidate will be enrolled to the PhD program of BITS, Pilani, in due course following Institute norms.
Essential Qualification: The candidate should have M.Sc degree in chemistry and should have mathematics in B.Sc as one of the subjects. Basic knowledge in X-ray crystallography will be an asset. Candidates having NET/GATE qualification are preferred. The candidate should be ready to travel to Bangalore as and when required for X-ray data collection.
Emoluments: Candidate having CSIR/UGC fellowship will get their own fellowship as per the funding agency. Candidates having GATE score will be eligible for a fellowship of Rs. 12,000/- p.m for first two yrs and Rs 14,000/- p.m for third yr (fixed). Candidates without NET/GATE qualification will get fellowship according to the DST guidelines.
