( votes)Eligibility: -We seek a candidate with both technical and theoretical skills, and with experience in animal handling and experiments.
-Experience with medical imaging and immunohistochemical analysis is warranted.
-Furthermore, it is an advantage to have theoretical knowledge on image analysis and statistics.
-The Postdoc and PhD projects are part of larger collaborations and the candidates are expected to work together with other PhDs/Postdocs/scientists and clinicians in a team.
-Good communication and collaboration skills are required.

Scholarship Description: The work at The Institute for Cancer Research is divided into 4 different activities: 1: Global characterization at DNA, RNA and protein level of primary tumors and patients’ genetic background, 2: Detection and characterization of occult tumor cells in BM (DTC), blood (CTC) and SLN, 3: Model systems and functional studies using cell lines and ortothopic growing xenografts , 4: Integrated analysis of molecular data at all levels using bioinformatics and biostatistical tools.
