Job Description: Applications are invited for the above studentship which is jointly funded by British Petroleum (BP) and EPSRC DTA. Candidates must be EU nationals and remuneration will be £14200 p.a. (and will increase in subsequent years), with all fees paid.
You will have a good honours degree (1st class or 2.1) or equivalent in engineering, mathematics or a related physical science subject and an enthusiasm for academic research. Previous experience with the DEM (the Discrete Element Method) and programming experience (either Fortran or C/C++) would be advantageous.
