Ryerson University is offering entrance scholarships to qualified students entering their first year of study. Six awards (one per faculty) are granted in this scholarship. Scholarships are valued at $10,000 per year (total value of $40,000). Scholarships are renewable each year provided a 3.67 CGPA and a clear academic standing are maintained and a full-time course load of 80% (4 units). Recipients will be guaranteed a space in first-year residence for their first year of study. The application deadline is April 1, 2014.

Eligibility: Current full-time (fall 2013/2014) Canadian secondary school students who are Canadian citizens, permanent residents or landed immigrants who will start full-time, four-year undergraduate degree programs at Ryerson in fall 2014, and who are enrolling in a post-secondary institution for the first time with a minimum final academic average of 90% in six Ontario grade 12 U/M courses (or Canadian provincial equivalent).

Scholarship Open for Students of Following Countries: Canadian citizens / permanent residents are eligible to apply for these entrance scholarships.

Scholarship Description: The President’s National Entrance Scholarships are awarded to secondary school graduates who demonstrate academic accomplishment, leadership qualities, original thought and creative ability.

Duration of award(s): These entrance scholarships are renewable each year provided a 4.0+ CGPA and a clear academic standing are maintained and a full-time course load of 80% (4 units) is carried in both the fall and winter semesters; recipients with CGPAs below 4.0 will be eligible for the renewable values of the General Entrance Scholarships.
