In the following categories
(A) Inland Scholarship: for pursuing
(a) Technical Trade Courses including Computers and infotech.

Existing recipients of Scholarship will have to apply again for continuance.
Scholarship amount ranges from Rs. 150/- to Rs 1,000/- per month.

(B) Overseas Loan Schoalrships
(For Higher Studies Abroad)
These are strictly for technical subjects to be undertaken by graduates/ post graduates. The loan is refundable in interest free soft instalments after completion of studies. Loan amount maximum upto Rs. 1,00,000/- lumpsum per selected student.
Eligibility: The students should be of Indian origin and have a uniformly brilliant academic record.

I am studying in the 2nd year of B.Tech (Aerospace Engineering) at one of the deemed universitites, Chennai. The total fees for the full course is (Tution fees:10.00 lakhs, Bus fees: 1.00 lakh and Books and examination fees, etc. :1.00 lakh): 12.00 lakhs. The bank sanctioned us an educational loan only Rs.7.00 lakhs. We have to pay the remaing 5.00 lakhs from our own but we dont have that much money we have to take loan from private parties and pay. Somehow we managed the shortfall amount for the past two years by taking loan for heavy interest from private parties. Again for this year 2009-3010 we have to pay the shortfall amount of Rs.1.50 lakhs. As it is we have not repaid the loan we have already taken and now its time to pay the 3rd year fees. Since my father is the only earning member and maintaing the household with the meagre salary he is earning, we are going through tough time financially. I have a high goal/interest to study this course(Aerospace Engg) and do M.S.in U.S.A. and work in NASA and become a Space Scientist. So i would request you to help me in sponsoring my education through any scholarship or philanthrophist, because after my undergraduat degree I have to work for sometime and clear all the loan which we have taken from the bank and save some money to go to U.S.A. to do the masters. My father is not in a position to clear the loan and send me for my post graduate studies directly after my undergraduate degree. Also we need another Rs.3.lakhs apart from the bank loan to complete my next two years of my undergraduate degree.
I will be grateful to the person/trust/organisation who can sponsor my undergraduate degree course (i.e. the complete course fees of Rs.12 lakhs) and also sponsor my higher eduation abroad and help me to achieve my goal/dream. Surely God will bless them for helping such poor students like me by sponsoring their education and helping them to achieve their goal and lifting them in the society.

I hold professional certificates in Animal Health and Production & Animal Health respectively from Nigeria and physically disabled. Humpness of the Back and lameness of my Right Leg are consequences of my childhood disability that I have learnt to master and live with as a toddler without any External Aid. I am very active in my nature of disability and my mobility gives me an admirable structure.
My Education is thanks to my Father who worked in the Catholic Education Agency in kumbo Diocese of Cameroon. He is now on old-age retirement without any pension benefit as a result of the pension system where he served. He is no longer able to sponsor me as he has no visible source of income.
I have a lot to share with the world in term of Rural Livestock Development. This is evident by my unpublished work on Ethno Veterinary Medicine. This investigation was with the hope to know whether this Indigenous Practice could give a clue into Western World Medicine. I am presently working on Indigenous Small Ruminant Production in order to come out with cost effective way of domestication that could lead to increase Productivity in Small Ruminant farming. NEED FOR THE STUDY
About 80% of the Rural Population in Cameroon depend on Indigenous Technical Knowledge (I.T.K.) to raise livestock. Thus this specialization in Livestock chains shall enable me come out with better ways that could help Local Stock Raisers improve on this useful knowledge; knowledge that is highly indispensable for sustainable development .For example inserting modern techniques into a common infrastructure that could stimulate thinking, increase knowledge and extend the productive skills of this sustainable practice.
Furthermore, the study shall enable me acquire a broad and finely developed knowledge, skills and attitudes that could be combined in specific competencies as:
To integrate Livestock Production Chain Management in rural development programmes as well as in commercial enterprises;
To develop and implement feasible strategies for an organization or company that could contribute towards an efficient, competitive and safe Livestock Production Chain;
To interpret the impact of projects,programmes and polices related to Livestock Production Chain;
To apply skills related to the management of livestock projects, organization or companies;
To work as an independent livestock professional in multi-disciplinary team;
To carry out efficient types of communication and give feedback in a convincing, respectful and critical manner;
To conduct applied research leading towards an efficient and safe Livestock Production Chain.
In other words the study shall provide an ideal way for me to enhance my professional competency with Experimental Learning and Competency Based Learning as key phrases.
Since I am working with the Provincial Service of Animal Production, Fisheries and Aquaculture in the Provincial Delegation of Livestock, Fisheries and Animal Industries in Bamenda-Cameroon; it shall provide me with the tools needed to act as a leading agent of change, developer or innovator. Working within the context of Rural Development; it shall enable me gain a full understanding of the complexities of Livestock Production chains that could go a long way to meet up with some of the global challenges associated with the various chains.
As a physically disabled person, this study shall empower me to achieve my human rights in the society through participation in academic research, cross-cultural exchange, teaching and volunteer programmes.All of which shall promote my full inclusion and participation at every level of international development process either as a volunteer, trainer, field staff, policy maker or administrator.
