Scholarship for German language course in Osnabrück

Have you always wanted to learn German? Or do you already speak German and would like to improve it? This could be your chance!

The University of Applied Sciences in Osnabrück and Osnabrück City Council are awarding a scholarship to one person from each of Osnabrück’s twin cities: Angers (France), Çanakkale (Turkey), Derby (UK), Haarlem (Netherlands), Twer (Russia) Hefei (China) and Vila Real (Portugal). The scholarship will enable this person to attend the 17th International Summer Language School run by the University of Applied Sciences in Osnabrück.

The 17th International Summer Language School will take place from 17 August to 14 September 2009 and comprises 90 hours of intensive German language training, offered at all levels, and with the opportunity to focus on the areas of ‘general German’, ‘business German’ or ‘technical German’.

The language course will be accompanied by a wide programme of events: In the afternoons and at weekends there will be presentations, company tours, sports and social events, as well as excursions on offer. At the end of the course there will be a four-day trip to Berlin and Potsdam. The course is aimed at students or those in employment, with or without previous knowledge of the German language (from beginners to advanced). Detailed information about the course is available from the following websites:
