Nuclear MRes Scholarship:Scholarship for Master Degree, Lancaster University, UK:Lancaster University Management school is delighted to be able to work with the University’s Engineering department to offer a scholarship for a graduate with an interest or background in Accounting and Finance, to study in a research team focusing on Engineering issues associated with the challenges of the nuclear legacy near to Barrow-in-Furness in West Cumbria.

The scholarship is one of four ‘Sir John Fisher Foundation Engineering Research Scholarships’. The University is seeking applications for four scholarships in total from outstanding graduates with an interest in decommissioning and environmental clean-up, and expertise in:

  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electronic Engineering
  • Accounting and finance
  • Software and interface design

Each scholar will study for one year towards an MSc by Research, working closely with industry within their team. Each scholarship includes tuition fees and a generous stipend.

Lancaster University is located near to the historic town of Lancaster, a short distance from the English Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales. Lancaster enjoys excellent transport links with Manchester, Liverpool and Glasgow, and mainline rail stations to London.
