Curtin University is inviting applications for international scholarships – Merit scholarship for pursuing undergraduate and postgraduate degree level. The students of Bangladesh, Botswana, Brazil, Brunei, China, Colombia, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nigeria, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, Vietnam, Zambia or Zimbabwe can apply for the scholarship. This scholarship provides eligible students 25% of their first year tuition fee, up to a maximum of AUD$10,000. The application deadline is 13 February 2015.
Masters Fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine
Wellcome Trust is offering masters fellowships for junior researchers to gain research experience and high-quality research training at Master’s degree level. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. A Fellowship normally provides up to 30 months’ support. The application deadline is 15 August 2014.

Steve Huckvale Scholarships for Mauritian Students
University of Bath is offering scholarships for Mauritian students. Each Scholarship is worth £5,000. Each is awarded as a discount in tuition fees and is for one year only. Dorothy Nicol Scholarship for Mauritian Students
University of Stirling is offering scholarship for Mauritian students for entry in September 2014. Scholarship of £5,000 towards the maintenance costs of a student will be awarded. Professor Arthur Li Development Scholarship
University of the West of England offers master scholarship for the students from developing Commonwealth countries. UCL Institute for Global Health is offering a small number of graduate scholarships for Mauritian students. Scholarships are awarded for studying MSc in Global Health and Development. British Council Scotland Commonwealth Scholarships
Scholarships for Mauritian students are available for literature and creative writing students to attend the summer school. Two 2-week Literature scholarships and one 4-week Creative Writing scholarship will be awarded. This will cover the summer school’s course and accommodation fees. African Doctoral Dissertation Research Fellowships
Fellowships are available to doctoral students who are within two years of completing their thesis at an African university. Applicants must be undertaking doctoral training at a recognized African university. The ADDRF will award about 20 fellowships in 2014. The fellowship runs for a maximum of four years. University of Groningen Talent Grant
Grant is awarded to students who have been admitted to one of the Faculty of Arts Research Master’s Programmes. Grant is provided in the field of Art History and Archaeology, Classical Medieval and Renaissance Studies and Literary and Cultural Studies. The grant is usually awarded for a maximum of 2 years for a Master’s degree programme. Application should be submitted till 1st March, 2014.
CAS-TWAS President’s Postgraduate Fellowship Programme
Fellowships are available for PhD study and research at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (UCAS), the University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) or Institutes of CAS around China. Call for Researchers: KFPE’s Learning Events Programme
The applications are invited for pursuing research programme. The total available amount of CHF 150’000 will be allocated to 3-4 projects. Applications must show that the proposed learning event is embedded in a research partnership project or programme. Learning events must last from a minimum of 5 days to a maximum of 1 month. United Nations University JFUNU Scholarship for Mauritian Students
UNU scholarship is available for pursuing master degree level in Japan. Applicants must have demonstrated commitment to study and understand global issues. Scholarship will be offered for maximum of 24 months. The JFUNU scholarship covers the full tuition fees and provides a monthly allowance of 150,000 JPY for living expenses. TWAS Prizes for Developing Countries’ Scientists
The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) is awarding eight prizes of USD 15,000 each to individual scientists. Georg Forster Research Fellowship (HERMES)
The Humboldt Foundation grants up to 80 Georg Forster Research Fellowships for postdoctoral researchers. Fellowships are available for periods of 6-24 months.
