The higher education in Argentina is based on old Spanish higher education system. The university level is basically comprises of 4-6 years. Brief Scholarship Description: Doctorate students belonging to Target Group 1 can apply for scholarships as exchange students. Exchange students are registered at a university (home university) and temporarily study at a partner university (host  university). The exchange period can be one or more semesters. Exchange students will not normally obtain a diploma from the host institution, but this may be possible in specific cases where the home and host universities establish a Co-directed-theses agreement. All academic results will be sent to the students’ home university and will be recognized by using the following tools: the Work Plan Proposal and, if applicable, the Learning Agreement, plus the Final Report and, if applicable, the Transcript of Records. Exchange Doctorate students need the approval for mobility by both their home and host university.

Brief Scholarship Description: The Amalia Lacroze de Fortabat Fellowships support graduate students at Harvard University who are citizens of Argentina.  The scholarships are made possible by the generosity of Amalia Lacroze de Fortabat.  Candidates are evaluated on the basis of merit and financial need.  Priority is given to degree candidates in fields that will enable them to contribute to Argentina’s social, economic and scientific progress; to the formulation of public policies that strengthen Argentine democracy, or to Argentina’s academic and professional development.  Fellowship recipients are expected to return to Argentina after the completion of their degrees.

Brief Scholarship Description: The Francis and Peggy Cahn Fund for Argentina will support Argentinean students studying at the Harvard Graduate School of Arts and Sciences in the Engineering, Applied, Physical and Life Sciences; the Harvard School of Public Health, the Harvard Kennedy School, or the Harvard Graduate School of Education.  Candidates are evaluated on the basis of merit and financial need.  It is the donors’ wish that recipients have plans to return to Argentina and utilize their education to enable them to contribute to Argentina’s social, economic, and scientific progress, and priority consideration will be given to those candidates.
