The John Cook School of Business is committed to educational excellence in the Jesuit tradition. This commitment is validated by our scholarship programs that have been created to recognize academic excellence and to make Saint Louis University affordable.

All students accepted into the 2008-2009 one-year MBA class, will be considered for the third annual 97.1 FM/John Cook School of Business $25,000 scholarship give-away. Student files will be reviewed by the Graduate Business Programs admissions committee and 97.1 FM. The winner will be announced on-air Friday, May 8 during the Allman & Crane show.

Merit-based Scholarships – Because of the generosity of several supporters of Saint Louis University, all applicants who are admitted to the Full-time MBA Program are considered for merit-based scholarships. No separate application is necessary. Awards typically range from $2,000 to $13,500.

Graduate Assitantships – In addition to merit-based awards, a limited number of competitive MBA graduate assistantships are available. Graduate Assistantships offer a stipend of up to $1,800 per semester in exchange for 10 hours of work per week, and are available only for yellow and green semesters. Assignments are determined by a combination of student interest and departmental needs and are announced during orientation. All applicants who are admitted to the Full-time MBA Program are also considered for graduate assistantship awards. No separate application is necessary.

Competitive Scholarhips — In addition to merit-based awards and graduate assistantships, competitive MBA scholarships from the John Cook School of Business are available.
