Scholarship: Sylvia Bligh Memorial PhD Scholarship, University of Queensland, Australia: Purpose of Award: To support a research higher degree candidate to undertake a full-time PhD in the School of Medicine in the Discipline of Psychiatry.
Closing Date: 19 September 2008
Eligibility:
The scholarship is open to applicants who are or intend to:
* enrol full-time in the PhD program; and
* conduct research in to treatment -resistant depression.
Stipend: The value of the scholarship is $25,000 per year indexed annually; and a school support grant of up to $5,000 per year.
Application Process:
Your application should consist of:
1. A detailed description of the proposed project, addressing specifically how you will meet the eligibility requirements;
2. Certified copies of academic transcripts for studies undertaken at universities other than UQ;
3. An academic CV, including publications; and
4. Letters of recommendation from at least two academic referees. You may use the Research Higher Degrees Referee Report Form which can be accessed from: http://www.uq.edu.au/grad-school/candidature-forms
