Scholarships and Bursaries New South Wales
Applications are now being sought for the 2008 NSW Rural Allied Health Scholarships and Semester 1, 2008 Rural Allied Health Clinical Placement Grants.
- The NSW Rural Allied Health Scholarships provide financial assistance to allied health students with a rural background who demonstrate an interest in a rural career. Our Scholarships assist students to complete full time tertiary study and assist with expenses associated with undertaking clinical placements in rural areas.
- The NSW Rural Allied Health Clinical Placement Grants assist eligible allied health students with the travel and accommodation costs of undertaking rural clinical placements. Our grants provide students, from rural or metropolitan areas, with the opportunity to experience rural practice and lifestyle in NSW.
To be eligible an applicant must be enrolled in an eligible course at at NSW University.
The closing date is Friday 28 March 2008. No applications will be considered after this date.

I would like to know you any professional development short term scholarships available for librarians in developing countries. Specially on digital preservation sector.
I would like to obtain thorough knowledge on digital preservation field. As I am working in Sri Lanka it will be very helpful for us to develop our systems according that. I need to know if any insitutions/universities providing funded advanced courses for digital library development (short term basis).
