TWAS-COMSTECH Joint Research Grants in OIC Countries, 2015
Applications are invited for TWAS-COMSTECH Joint Research Grants available for young individual scientists to undertake research project in OIC Countries. The programme provides support for research projects in the following fields of science and technology: earth sciences, engineering sciences, information technology and computer sciences, materials science including nanotechnology, pharmaceutical sciences and renewable energy. A grant is normally provided for a period of 18 months and is renewable once. A Research Grant amounts to a maximum of USD 15,000. The application deadline is 31 August 2015.

Gordon Studentships – Taught MLitt and PhD in American Studies in UK, 2015
Each year the Centre for American Studies offers several full or partial fees-only studentships to students wishing to take the MLitt or the PhD degree in American Studies. These studentships are available to UK students, EU nationals and applicants from outside the EU, but the studentships will cover the cost of the student’s fees up to a maximum of the annual tuition costs for UK and EU students. The application deadline is 31 May, 2015.

International Leader of the Future Scholarships for MBA in UK, 2015
University of Stirling is inviting applications for international leader of the future scholarships for MBA. Applications from international students of all nationalities (excluding the European Union) will be considered. Scholarship offers 50% off the overseas tuition fee with a value of £8,000, which will be awarded to a student joining the Stirling MBA in September 2015. Scholarship is to be awarded on the basis of academic merit and the strength of the personal statement. The application deadline is 29th May 2015.

Masters Scholarships in High Performance Computing at University of Edinburgh in UK, 2015-2016
The School of Physics and Astronomy offers up to two Master’s scholarships in High Performance Computing for the 2015-2016 academic session. Each scholarship covers UK/EU tuition fees and is tenable for one academic year. All applicants, regardless of their nationalities are eligible to apply for the scholarship. These scholarships are awarded competitively on the broadly basis of academic merit. The application deadline is 1st May 2015.

Lee Foundation Grants at University of Auckland in New Zealand, 2015
University of Auckland is inviting application for Lee Foundation Grants for students from Singapore and Malaysia. Grants will be available to students who have completed at least two years of satisfactory study at the University of Auckland. Grants will only be made on the basis of real financial need, and academic performance with satisfactory grades. The application deadline is 15 March 2015.

OeAD Ernst Mach Grant for International Students in Austria, 2015/2016
Applications are invited for Ernst Mach Grant available for students and young researchers from any country (except Austria) for a research or to study stay in Austria. Ernst Mach grant worldwide is open for postgraduates and/or post-docs for maximum of 9 months while Ernst Mach Grant for studying at an Austrian University of Applied Sciences is open to graduates and undergraduates for 4–10 months. Age limit for this grant program is 35 years at the time of the application. The application deadline is March 1st 2015 for the academic year 2015/16.

School of Arts Research Studentships at Birkbeck, University of London in UK, 2015
The School of Arts also offers up to 15 research studentships for M.Phil/ PhD students. Full or partial fee awards  are available for Home/EU/International students. Studentships are offered for part-time or full-time postgraduate research level of study within the departments of English & Humanities, History of Art, Film, Media & Cultural Studies and Cultures and Languages or via the Arts and Humanities Doctoral Programme. The application deadline is 16 February 2015.

BIGSSS PhD Fellowship for International Applicants in Germany, 2015
The Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS) is offering PhD Fellowship for international students. Fellowships are provided in three Thematic Fields A: Global Governance and Regional Integration, Thematic Field B: Welfare State, Inequality and Quality of Life, Thematic Field C: Changing Lives in Changing Socio-Cultural Contexts and Methods Center. The application period for the fall 2015 semester will begin on November 15th, 2014 and go until February 15th, 2015.

Faculty PhD Scholarships at University of Sheffield in UK, 2015-2016
For entry in 2015-16, each Faculty is offering a number of scholarship awards on a competitive basis. Scholarships are available for pursuing PhD degree level at University of Sheffield. Faculty PhD Scholarships are open for UK, EU and international applicants. These scholarships fund up to three years full-time or six years part-time study, subject to satisfactory progress. Part-time studentships are paid at 50% of the full-time rate. The closing date for faculty PhD scholarship applications for 2015-16 is 3rd February 2015.

Wolfson Postgraduate Scholarships in Humanities at University of York in UK, 2015-2016
University of York is offering Wolfson Postgraduate Scholarships in Humanities for the academic year 2015-2016. These scholarships are open for both UK and international students in the field of humanities (history, literature and languages).  Four scholarships will be available to PhD students applying for entry in Autumn 2015, with at least one in each of the areas of History, Literature and Languages. Each scholarship offers a stipend of c. £17,000 per year for up to three years of PhD study and also includes: A full fee waiver (at Home or Overseas rate) , A generous Research Training and Support Grant. The application deadline is 2nd February 2015.

Erasmus Mundus MEEES Scholarships for International Students, 2015-2016
Applications are invited for Erasmus Mundus scholarships available to applicants from all nationalities. These scholarships are awarded for 18-months MSc programme in Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Seismology at the Institute for Advanced Study of Pavia (IUSS), the University of Patras, the University of Grenoble 1 “Joseph Fourier” and the Middle East Technical University. There are three types of scholarships are available within the scope of the MEEES programme: Category A Scholarships for third-country nationals, Category B Scholarships for European applicants and Consortium Scholarship for students of any nationality. The scholarships range from 15,000€ (Euro) to 38,000€ (Euro). The application deadline is February 2, 2015.

GCSC PhD Scholarships for International Students in Germany, 2015
The GCSC invites applications for up to 13 PhD scholarships which are funded by the Excellence Initiative as well as Justus Liebig University Giessen. Scholarships are available for  international students. Scholarships are offered for one year with the possibility of two extensions, each of one year. The PhD scholarship period starts on October 1, 2015 and includes a monthly stipend of approximately €1,468. The application deadline is February 1, 2015.

2015 CIMI Master Fellowships for French and Foreign Students, France
CIMI is offering master fellowships for French and foreign students enrolled in a Master course in Mathematics or Computer Science in one of the programs associated with CIMI. Up to 4 fellowships for students starting on the first year of a Master’s degree M1 and 10 fellowships for those starting on the second year of a Master’s degree M2 will be available. These fellowships are open on a competitive basis and awarded on the basis of the quality of the academic records. The application deadline is 31st of January 2015.

Fully Funded PhD Grants at European University Institute in Italy, 2015
European University Institute is awarding fully funded PhD grants for four years  in the area of Law, Political and Social Sciences and History. There are 160 grants available for nationals of some EU member states and some limited grants for nationals of non EU member states. To qualify for a national grant, student must meet the specific requirements set by the national grant authorities. The application deadline is 31 January, 2015.

2015 Terra Foundation Research Travel Grants for International Students, USA
Terra Foundation has invited applications for research travel grants available for international doctoral students and postdoctoral and senior scholars. These grants provide support for research on topics concerning American art and visual culture. There are nine to thirteen grants awarded annually for short-term travel (3 months maximum). The grants provide up to $6,000 per grant for doctoral students from Europe, North America, Australia and New Zealand, up to $7,000 per grant for doctoral candidates from Asia, Africa and Latin America and up to $9,000 per grant for all postdoctoral and senior scholars. The closing date for application is January 15, 2015.

Malmö University Master’s Scholarships for International Students in Sweden, 2015
Malmö University is offering masters scholarships for students who are citizens of a country outside the European Economic Area/Switzerland. There are up to 30 scholarships available, each providing a 75 to 100 percent reduction of the programme’s tuition fee. All fee-paying students who apply for a Master’s programme (except for distance learning programmes) that starts at Malmö University in September 2015 are eligible for this scholarship. The application deadline is 15 January 2015.

Bocconi Need-based Scholarship for International Students in Italy, 2015-2016
Applications are invited for Bocconi need-based scholarship available for international students (non-Italian) applying to a Bachelor program or a Law Program or master of Science Program for the AY 2015-2016. The undergraduate scholarship provides a full tuition waiver, worth approximately € 11,000.00 per year for a maximum of 3 academic years (for Bachelor programs) or 5 academic years (for the Law program). The graduate Scholarship provides a full tuition waiver worth approximately € 12,000.00 per year for a maximum of 2 academic years.

CEELBAS Doctoral Student Travel Grants for International Students in UK, 2015
The Centre for East European Language-Based Area Studies is awarding travel grants for overseas research training & overseas language training. Fellowships are awarded for doctoral students at CEELBAS universities who will not have submitted their theses at the time of the proposed activity and are self-funding their studies and/or are unable to support the full costs of the proposed activity through other sources of funding. The funding is intended to support doctoral research falling within the AHRC’s subject remit and/or furthering the objectives of the BA’s Languages & Quantitative Skills Programme. Funding is available to support activity taking place in the period from February 2015 to January 2016. The application deadline is 12th January 2015.

2015 Facebook Fellowship Award for Domestic and International Students, USA
Applications are invited for Facebook fellowship program available to domestic and international students for full-timePhD accredited doctoral program focusing on a topic or field relevant to Facebook. Up to twelve (12) academic fellowships are awarded for a period of for two years. Each Facebook Fellowship includes several benefits like tuition and fees for the academic year(s)as well as $37,000 yearly grant, paid visit to Facebook HQ to present research and opportunity for paid internship. The application deadline is January 5, 2015.

2015 Leakey Foundation Research Grants for International Students, USA
The Leakey Foundation is awarding research grants for advanced doctoral students (advanced to candidacy – all but dissertation) and established scientists. The Foundation funds research related specifically to human origins. Research Grants are awarded twice annually (in May and December). The majority of the Foundation’s Research Grants to doctoral students are in the $3,000 to a maximum of $15,000 range. Larger grants, especially to senior scientists and post-doctoral students, may be funded up to $25,000. The application deadline is January 5th, 2015.

Short Research and Professional Visits Grants for Indian Students in UK, 2015
Charles Wallace India Trust offers short research and professional visits grants for Indian students in the UK. Grants are provided in the field of history, literature, archaeology, history of art, philosophy, performing and creative arts. There are 10-15 grants annually of up to £1400 towards the in the UK costs of short research or professional visits. Grants are generally sufficient for up to 3 weeks. Applications should be sent by 31st December 2014.

African Peacebuilding Network (APN) Individual Research Grants in Africa, 2015
Applications are invited for APN individual research grants available for African researchers, policy analysts and practitioners working on conflict and peacebuilding issues at universities and research institutions or regional governmental and nongovernmental organizations in Africa. All applicants must be African citizens currently residing in an African country. Up to ten individual grants of $15,000 will be awarded. Grants are awarded on a competitive, peer-reviewed basis and are intended to support six months of field-based research, from May 2015 to November 2015. During their grant period, grantees are required to participate in two workshops organized by the APN. The applications deadline is December 14, 2014.
