Centre for the Study of African Economies is going to launch the CSAE Visiting Fellowship 2020 for the enthusiastic researchers at the University of Oxford to enhance their career. This award will be given to those requisites who have the citizenship of African Countries and having a desire of acquiring the doctoral qualification. The fellowship incorporates a two-month residency in Oxford, including flights, accommodation, and a small stipend.

Chancellors International Development Scholarships
The University of South is awarding chancellors international development scholarships worth £2,500. These scholarships are available for undertaking an undergraduate degree programme. Students do not need to make a separate scholarship application. They will be automatically considered for a scholarship when they make their application. The application deadline is  January 15, 2016.

Allan and Nesta Ferguson Scholarships at SOAS, University of London, 2022
Allan and Nesta Ferguson Charitable trust is offering scholarships for African students. University of Southampton Scholarships for International Students in UK, 2019
The University of Southampton is offering postgraduate taught talent scholarship for 2016 entry. Scholarships of £6,000 are available for up to 3 students from Africa, Middle East, South America and India who excel in their field. The scholarship applies to Winchester School of Art and will not apply if student change their programme to another School/Faculty. The application deadline is July 26, 2019.

The Desmond Tutu Masters Scholarship
The University of Edinburgh is inviting applications for Desmond Tutu Masters Scholarship for Africans. The scholarship will be awarded to a student from Africa who is accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study within the School of Divinity. The scholarship will cover the full overseas tuition fee and a maintenance allowance of £5,000. The award will be tenable for one academic year. The application deadline is closed.

Julius Nyerere Master’s Scholarship
The University of Edinburgh will award a Julius Nyerere Master’s Scholarship to Tanzanian students who undertaking Master’s study in the year 2022. The scholarship will cover the full overseas tuition fee, living costs of £13,500, and a return flight from Tanzania to the UK. The scholarship is tenable for one academic year. In addition to their studies, the successful applicant will be expected to participate in Swahili language conversation tutorials. The application deadline is 5th May 2022.

High Achiever Foundation Prize for African Students at University of Nottingham in UK, 2015
University of Nottingham is inviting applications for high achiever foundation prizes available for African students. Applicants must already hold an offer to start a full-time foundation programme at Nottingham in September 2015. The value of these foundation prizes is £2,000 towards tuition fees. The application deadline is  27 March 2015.

David E I Pyott Master of Surgery in Clinical Ophthalmology Scholarship
David E I Pyott Foundation is offering six online distance learning master’s scholarships for the academic year 2017. These scholarships are available for the students of sub-Saharan Africa, South East Asia, and South America. The scholarships will be awarded to students who are accepted for admission on to the online distance learning master of surgery (ChM) in Clinical Ophthalmology at the University of Edinburgh. Each scholarship will cover the tuition fee for the entire part-time programme of study as well as provide access to a broadband facility and a laptop. The application deadline is  July 29, 2019.

London School of Economics and Political Science LLM funding for Female Africans in UK, 2020
The London School of Economics and Political Science is inviting applications for Margaret Bennett funding for the academic year 2020-21. The grant is available for female students from Africa to pursue LLM programme.The grant is expected to be to the value of £5,000. This scholarship is available to support female students from Africa intending to study for the LLM. Preference will be given to applicants from north Africa. The application deadline is April 27, 2020.

Loughborough University Inspiring Success funding for International Students, 2022
If you are stopping yourself from completing your studies because of the cost of the tuition fee. Then, dear students go ahead with the Inspiring Success program and complete your higher studies in the UK. This educational award will cover the 100% cost of the tuition fees for selected unemployed and underemployed graduates. The closing date for application is July 31, 2022.

GDAI PhD Scholarship for African Students
Applications are invited for Mo Ibrahim Foundation scholarship available for African students at School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) in the UK. Preference will be given to scholarship candidates living in Sub-Saharan Africa. Scholarship is awarded for undertaking PhD research programme (Full time) that directly address or be applicable to the issue of Governance in Africa. The scholarship is on a part present form and it provides Fees for three years and for accommodation and living cost for the first year only. It is expected that students to be on fieldwork during the second year and to write the thesis in the third year in their country of origin. Academic Excellence International Masters Scholarship

Wellcome Trust Masters Degree Scholarships for International Students UK, 2016

University of Oxford is awarding MSc scholarship in African Studies for the students of sub-Saharan Africa. This scholarship is only tenable at Linacre College. All eligible applicants will be considered for this scholarship, regardless of which college (if any) they state as their preference on the graduate application form. However, successful applicants will be transferred to Linacre College in order to take up the scholarship. The scholarship will cover 100% of University and college fees, a grant for living costs (of at least £10,397) and a return flight from your home country to UK. The application deadline is 23 January 2015.

Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies (OCIS) Scholarships for Graduates
The Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies is inviting applications for pursuing graduate degree level at Oxford University. Scholarships are available for UK (ordinarily resident in the United Kingdom and from a Muslim community), Asian and African students. Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of academic merit. Edinburgh Global Development Academy Masters Scholarships

John Moores International Undergraduate Scholarships
Liverpool John Moores University is awarding international undergraduate scholarships for students of Africa, the ASEAN countries, the People’s Republic of China or Commonwealth countries. Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate degree. In order to be considered for this award applicants must have an overall English IELTS score of 7.0 (with a minimum score of 6.5 in each component) or recognised equivalent. The scholarships will consist of £6,000 first year tuition fee waiver. The application deadline is 2 June 2015.

University of Edinburgh Southern African Scholarship
Applications are invited for University of Edinburgh Southern African Scholarships for postgraduate study in any subject offered by the University. Scholarships are awarded to students from Southern African countries who are accepted for admission on a full-time basis for a postgraduate Master’s programme of study or PhD degree programme. Scholarship covers the overseas rate of tuition fee and university accommodation for the duration of the postgraduate degree programme. Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh. The closing date for applications is 25th April 2015.

Oppenheimer Fund Scholarships for South African
University of Oxford is inviting applications for Oppenheimer Fund Scholarships. Scholarships are available for pursuing full-time graduate degree at University of Oxford. Scholarships are open for the students who have previously studied at South African universities. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit. Scholarship provides a grant for living costs for the full duration of applicants fee liability for the agreed course. The application deadline is 9 or 23 January 2015, depending on your course.

Management School MSc UK Scholarships for African Students
Sheffield University Management School is awarding up to 8 Msc scholarships valued at £7,000 each. Scholarships are awarded for students from America, UK, India and Pakistan who have a first or upper second class UK honours degree, or equivalent. Selection will be based on merit. All students who are eligible for a scholarship and have accepted their offer before the closing date i.e. 6 June 2015 will be automatically considered.

3ie Scholarships for African Students and Developing Countries
University of East Anglia is inviting applications for 3ie scholarship. One 3ie scholarship is available for applicants from less developed countries who apply for a place on the Msc Impact Evaluation for International Development. The Scholarship covers £10,000 of the course tuition fee and one return economy flight. The scholarship is provided to study Msc Impact Evaluation for International Development. All applicants are expected to have met the School’s English language requirements and been offered and accepted a place on the course by this date.  The application deadline is 30 May 2015.

Eni UK Scholarships for African Students at St Antony’s College Oxford
St Antony’s College, University of Oxford offers Eni scholarships for graduate students of Angola, Ghana, Libya, Mozambique and Nigeria to study a fully funded degree in 2022-23. Preference will be given to applicants whose first degree is from an African university. The scholarships will include 100% of university and college fees and an annual grant for living costs. The scholarship also covers one economy return airfare from home country to the UK at the start and end of the course. The scholarships will be awarded on the basis of both academic merit and potential and financial need. The application deadline is 1st March 2022.

Developing Solutions Masters Scholarships for African Students
University of Nottingham is inviting applications for developing solutions masters scholarships available for the students of Africa, India or one of the listed countries of the Commonwealth. Applicants must already hold an offer to start a full-time masters degree programme, including MRes at Nottingham for September 2015. Up to 105 scholarships are awarded. Up to 30 scholarships will cover 100% tuition fee and up to 75 scholarships will cover 50% towards tuition fees. The application deadline is 24 April 2015.

2015 Commonwealth Medical Fellowships in UK
UK Department for International Development (DFID) is inviting applications for Medical fellowships available for doctors and dentists from Developing Commonwealth Countries. These fellowships are for mid-career clinical staff to learn a new medical or dental skill, to practise the new medical or dental skill, and to network with others in the same and related specialties. Awards are tenable for between three months and six months at any approved UK University Hospital; experience suggests that a minimum of 4 months is sensible. The EAS will close to all applicants on 3 December 2014.

Commonwealth Academic Fellowships for Mid-Career Academics in UK, 2015
Applications are invited for Commonwealth academic fellowships available for mid-career academics from developing Commonwealth countries. These fellowships enable fellows to spend three months to network and update knowledge and skills related to their academic subject and responsibilities at any approved UK university or higher education institution. The CSC also invites alumni who held Commonwealth Scholarships for PhD to apply directly to the CSC for a Commonwealth Academic Fellowship. All eligible alumni will be sent a letter with details of how to apply. All applications must be made through your nominating university/university body in applicants’ home country. The deadline for applications is 3 December 2014.

Imam Bukhari and Imam Tirmizi Visiting Research Fellowships
Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies is funding research fellowships for the Asian or African citizens. Preference will be given to those studying classical Islamic sciences, although other areas in the humanities and social sciences will be considered. The Fellowships will be tenable from 1 October 2015 for a minimum period of three months. Each Fellowship carries a stipend of £3,000 and membership of the Common Room. Application should be submitted till 6th December 2014.

Chevening/LSHTM Partnership Award 
Chevening partner with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine are inviting applications for Chevening/LSHTM Partnership Award available for Masters Students. Up to ten awards are available to candidates from Sudan, South Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and Uganda. Awards are offered for one year. Award includes full tuition fees for your chosen course at LSHTM. The application deadline is 15th November.

Chevening/Southampton Partnership Award, 2015-2016
Applications are invited for Chevening/Southampton Partnership Award available for candidates from all Chevening-eligible countries. Awards are available for any one-year taught master’s degree offered at the University of Southampton. Award includes full tuition fees for your chosen course at Southampton; country fee caps do not apply. The application deadline is 15th November.

Cambridge Scholarships for Egyptian Students, 2015-2016
University of Cambridge, the Cambridge Trust is inviting applications for 2015-16 Egypt Cambridge Scholarship. Up to five scholarships are available for Egyptian students who plan to start a PhD at the University of Cambridge in the academic year 2015-16. Each scholarship awarded will be of 3 year’s duration. Scholarship covers tuition fee. The application deadline is 2nd December 2014.

African MBA Scholarships Competition
The University of Surrey is offering three partial scholarships to nationals from the continent of Africa. One award of £10,000 and two awards of £5,000 are available to exceptional candidates applying to study the Surrey MBA in 2014. Last date of submitting applications is 30th June 2014.

Newcastle University Tanzania Scholarship
Applications are invited for Tanzania Scholarship available for entry onto postgraduate taught degree or research programmes in September 2014 at Newcastle University. Applicants intend to register to start their studies during the 2014-15 academic year. This scholarship will be awarded for one year. The scholarship will have a value of £3,500, payable towards the first year of tuition fees. Applications will close on 30th June 2014.

University of Bradford Global Development UK Scholarship for African Students
Scholarship for African students is available for students on full time master’s programmes (not MBA) based at the University of Bradford. Each scholarship is worth approximately £20,000. Applicants must meet the minimum entry requirements (both academic and English Language) to be considered for this scholarship. The closing date for applications is 29th May 2014.

Tertiary Education Scholarship Trust for African Students
Applications are invited for TEST UK scholarships for African students available to both new and to continuing students. Scholarships will be awarded for the duration of the programme. The Foundation provides full or partial scholarships to needy but brilliant students. Award values will differ based on a person’s need and both full and partial scholarships will be awarded accordingly. The application deadline for fresh students is 29th August 2014 and for continuing students is 30th May 2014.

Merit Postgraduate UK Scholarships for African Students
University of Sheffield is accepting applications for three available merit-based UK scholarships for African Students. Each scholarship is worth £7,000 of postgraduate taught masters’ degree tuition fee per year, for one year of study. Scholarships will take the form of a tuition fee reduction. The application deadline is 27th June 2014.

West Africa Merit Scholarship
UK scholarships for African students are available for pursuing full time postgraduate masters program at University of Aberdeen. Five scholarships of approx £2000 each will be awarded in either the Colleges of Arts and Social Sciences or the College of Life Sciences and Medicine. Applications must be submitted by 30 June 2014.

Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships
UK scholarships for African students are available for pursuing undergraduate and master (taught) degree level at University of Essex in UK. These scholarship awards are only being made available as a reduction on the tuition fee that is payable on registration at the University. Application deadline is 30th June 2014.

MBA UK Scholarships for African Students 
Sheffield University Management School is offering 25 scholarships worth of £2,000 each. Applicant must have a first or upper second class UK honors degree or equivalent and should have received at least a conditional offer from the University to study on the full-time MBA programme. All students who are eligible for a scholarship and have accepted their offer before the closing date will be automatically considered. Online application must reach by 30 May 2014.

Loughborough University Graduate School Development Trust Africa Scholarships
The scholarships for African students are available for pursuing postgraduate (taught) degree level at Loughborough University in UK. African Students who are in possession of an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on a postgraduate taught course can apply for the scholarship. Scholarships cover 100% of the course fees for postgraduate taught course for one year. The application deadline is 30th April 2014.

Full-Time MBA Scholarships for African Students in UK

Justice Malek Ahmed funding for Postgraduate Students in UK, 2016 
The University of the West of England Bristol is inviting applications for Justice Malek Ahmed funding for postgraduate students. Total offer is of 100% of tuition fees. The studentships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by the University of the West of England Bristol. The application deadline is 31 March 2016.

University of Manchester Equity and Merit Scholarships

The University of Manchester is excited to announce the Equity and Merit programme for the deserving students for the academic year 2020/21.There are 27 scholarships available to support academically excellent young professionals from Rwanda, Uganda, Ethiopia and Tanzania to undertake master’s degrees at the university. Waverley–African Studies Centre Joint UK Scholarships for African Students
MSc Joint Scholarships for the students from sub-Saharan Africa in the field of African Studies at the School of Interdisciplinary Area Studies (SIAS), a department in the Social Sciences Division, university of Oxford, UK. Applicants should be applying for MSc African Studies at Oxford and must be ordinarily resident in sub-Saharan Africa. Applicants should be intending to return to their country of ordinary residence once their course is completed. The funding covers 100% of university and college fees and a grant for living expenses. IDB-Oxford Clarendon UK Scholarships for African Students
Islamic Development Bank and the University of Oxford funded the combined IDB-Oxford Clarendon Scholarship for graduate students in the field of MPLS, Medical Sciences and Social Sciences at University of Oxford, UK. This scholarship is not open to candidates applying for Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma courses, part-time courses, non-matriculated courses or to students with deferred entry. The combined IDB-Oxford Clarendon Scholarship will cover 100% of university and college fees and a grant for living expenses (at least £13,726). The application deadline is January 2020 as per the course.

Canon Collins Educational Trust Scholarships for African Students
Canon Collins Educational Trust funded Scholarships for Postgraduate Students from Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia,  Zimbabwe to study in UK universities.  The free education grants will be valued from R20, 000 to R100, 000 depending on student circumstances.
