Loughborough University Graduate School Development Trust Africa Scholarships
The scholarships are available for pursuing postgraduate (taught) degree level at Loughborough University in UK. African Students who are in possession of an offer (conditional or unconditional) of a place on a postgraduate taught course can apply for the scholarship.  Scholarships cover 100% of the course fees for postgraduate taught course for one year. The application deadline is 30th April 2014.

2014 Management School MSc Scholarships
Scholarships for African students are available for pursuing masters degree level at Sheffield University Management School. Applicants should have a first or upper second class UK honours degree or equivalent. Applicants should have received at least a conditional offer from the university to study on one of the full-time MSc programmes. The deadline for applications is 31st May 2014.

MBA Scholarships 
25 scholarships worth of £2,000 each will be awarded. Applicant must have a first or upper second class UK honors degree or equivalent and should have received at least a conditional offer from the University to study on the full-time MBA programme. All students who are eligible for a scholarship and have accepted their offer before the closing date will be automatically considered. Online application must reach by 30 May 2014.

Africa Regional Bursary 
University of Cambridge offers Bursary for African students to pursue MBA programme. To be eligible for this bursary, applicants meet the usual requirements for the Cambridge MBA. Candidates should apply for admission to the Cambridge MBA in the normal way for applying this bursary. A bursary worth up to £18,000 will be awarded to a successful African candidate. The application deadline is 10th January 2014.

Full-Time MBA Scholarships 
Scholarships are available for pursuing master’s degree level at University of Strathclyde. Suitable candidates will be considered on the basis of their MBA applications and interview performance. One scholarship of £10,000 to female from Europe/ North South America, 1 scholarship of £10,000 to female from Asia/ Africa and 2 Scholarships of £10,000 for those who are prepared to test new ideas; to go beyond the status quo and make a difference to industry and society will be awarded. The application deadline is 31st May 2014.

Professor Arthur Li Development Scholarship
University of the West of England offers master scholarship for African students. One full tuition fee scholarship will be available for an outstanding student to study a one year masters programme at University of the West of England. Applicants must have achieved the equivalent of a British 1st in their undergraduate degree.  Application deadline is 31st May 2014.

Margaret Bennett Scholarship
Scholarship is available for pursuing masters (LLM) degree level at London School of Economics and Political Science. The scholarship for African students has a value of up to £5,000. Successful applicants will be notified by the end of July 2014. Preference will be given to applicants from North Africa. Last date of submitting applications is 28 April 2014.

University of Manchester Equity and Merit Scholarships
The University of Manchester is invited applications for up to 6 scholarships for African students for postgraduate study. Six scholarships are offered which covers cover tuition fees and required text books, grant to contribute to the costs of internet access. Students will be invited to attend a study skills day in their home country during their first year. Application will close on 20 January 2014.

Henley Ambassador Postgraduate Awards
University of Reading offers Henley ambassador postgraduate awards in the field of business. Successful students will receive up to £5,000 off their degree tuition fees. Henley Business School has a commitment to support and develop the best talent to become future leaders in their chosen field. Closing dates for applications are March 21st 2014, and July 4th 2014.

South Africa Investec Scholarships 
The applicant will work for Investec South Africa once they have completed the MBA programme and cannot be bought out by another company. Investec will cover the full cost of the programme, including tuition, boarding and travel expenses and will pay the applicant a monthly recompense. Online application deadline is 10th January 2014.

Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarships
The scholarships for African students are available for pursuing undergraduate and master (taught) degree level at University of Essex in UK. These scholarship awards are only being made available as a reduction on the tuition fee that is payable on registration at the University. Application deadline is 30th June 2014.

Lord Walston Scholarship
University of East Anglia is funding one Lord Walston scholarship for African students for pursuing master degree level. The scholarship covers full fees and maintenance (living expenses). Applicants from Africa who are working in natural resource based projects applying for a place on the MA Agriculture and Rural Development, the MSc Environment and International Development or the MSc Climate Change and International Development can apply. Last date of submitting applications is 16th March 2014.

Developing Solutions Chanrai Summit Scholarship
This scholarship is available for African students for pursuing master degree level. Applicants already hold an offer to start a full-time master’s degree programme, including MRes, at Nottingham for September 2014 in an area of study within the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences. Scholarship covers full tuition fee scholarship including £10,600 subsistence award. Application should be submitted till 25th April 2014.

Duke of Portland Developing Solutions Scholarship
Scholarship is available for pursuing masters degree level at University of Nottingham. 1 Full Tuition Fee Scholarship is available for an African student. Successful applicants will be notified about the outcome within 6 weeks of the closing date. Applicants can apply for this scholarship if they are classed as an overseas student for fee purposes. The application deadline is 25th April 2014.

Janssen Phamaceutica Scholarships
Each scholarship will cover full overseas tuition fees and a living expense stipend of £14,000. A strong preference will be given to applicants who are nationals of and have been ordinarily resident in low- and middle-income countries for the last three years. Consideration will also be given to exceptional applicants from other backgrounds. The application deadline is 1st May 2014.

University of Edinburgh Southern African Scholarship
This scholarship is available for pursuing postgraduate Master’s programme at University of Edinburgh in UK. Scholarship covers the overseas rate of tuition fee and university accommodation and is tenable for one academic year. Applicants should already have been offered a place at the University of Edinburgh. The closing date for applications for these scholarships is 25th April 2014. 

3ie Scholarships for African Students and Developing Countries in UK, 2014
University of East Anglia offers 3ie Scholarship in UK. University of East Anglia offers full time Degree of Master of Science Scholarship in for the duration of one year. The Scholarship covers £3,000 of the course tuition fee and one return economy flight. All eligible candidates to whom the School has made an offer are automatically considered for nomination. Application deadline is 30th May 2014.

Eni Scholarships African Students at St Antony’s College Oxford
St Antony’s College Oxford in partnership with the international integrated energy company Eni, is offering three students from African universities the opportunity of fully funded scholarships, including fees and living expenses, to undertake postgraduate study at the Master’s level at the University of Oxford. Scholarship Application Deadline: 14 March 2014.

South Africa Investec Scholarships for African Students, UK
Investec has selected Cambridge Judge Business School to embark on an initiative to afford South Africans the opportunity to pursue an Investec-funded MBA. The applicant will work for Investec South Africa once they have completed the MBA programme and cannot be bought out by another company. Waverley–African Studies Centre Joint Scholarships for African Students, UK
MSc Joint Scholarships for the students from sub-Saharan Africa in the field of African Studies at the School of Interdisciplinary Area Studies (SIAS), a department in the Social Sciences Division, university of Oxford, UK. Applicants should be applying for MSc African Studies at Oxford and must be ordinarily resident in sub-Saharan Africa. Applicants should be intending to return to their country of ordinary residence once their course is completed. The funding covers 100% of university and college fees and a grant for living expenses. IDB-Oxford Clarendon Scholarships for African Students at University of Oxford, UK
Islamic Development Bank and the University of Oxford funded the combined IDB-Oxford Clarendon Scholarship for Graduate Students in the field of MPLS, Medical Sciences and Social Sciences at University of Oxford, UK. This scholarship is not open to candidates applying for Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma courses, part-time courses, non-matriculated courses or to students with deferred entry. The combined IDB-Oxford Clarendon Scholarship will cover 100% of university and college fees and a grant for living expenses (at least £13,726). The application deadlines are 10 January 2014 for Medical Sciences, Philosophy, Politics & International Relations and Computer Science; 24 January 2014 for all other subjects.

Developing Solutions Masters Scholarships for African Students at University of Nottingham, UK
Masters Scholarship for Developing Countries Students at University of Nottingham, UK Scholarships are available for pursuing full-time masters degree programme, including MRes, at Nottingham for September 2014 in the field of Engineering, Medicine & Health Sciences, Science, Geography–courses related to the area of Environment, Science & Society – courses related to the area of Science and Business. Scholarship Application Deadline: 25 April 2014.

Commonwealth Shared Scholarships for African Students and Commonwealth Developing Countries, UK
Department for International Development (DFID) funded master’s Scholarships for Developing Commonwealth Country Citizens at UK Universities. All courses undertaken must be demonstrably relevant to the economic, social or technological development of the candidate’s home country. Awards are available at participating institutions in the UK only. A grant of up to £225 to cover thesis (Master’s) costs is available; also available is £200 for study travel. The cost of up to 10 Kilograms of excess baggage (books only) is available for scholars returning home at the end of their awards. The application deadline is 16th April 2014.

Intermediate Fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine, UK 
Wellcome Trust funded Research Fellowship in Public Health and Tropical Medicine for Low and Middle Income Country Applicants to study in UK. Fellowships are offered for research projects aimed at understanding and controlling diseases (either human or animal) of relevance to local, national or global health. Scholarship Application Deadlines: 5 March and 28 May annually.

Imam Bukhari and Imam Tirmizi Visiting Research Fellowships at OCIS, UK
Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies funded Imam Bukhari and Imam Tirmizi Visiting Research Fellowships in the field of classical Islamic sciences, humanities and social sciences for the applicants Asia and Africa in Oxford Centre for Islamic Studies, UK. The Fellowships will be tenable from 1 October 2014 for a minimum period of three months. Each Fellowship carries a stipend of £3,000 and membership of the Common Room. The stipend is intended as a supplementary award and may be held in conjunction with other research grants, stipends or sabbatical salaries. Application should be submitted till 6th December 2013.

Mandela Magdalene College Scholarships for African Students, UK
Cambridge Trusts and Magdalene College funded college scholarship enable graduates from South Africa to pursue one-year taught postgraduate courses of study at the University of Cambridge in subjects relevant to the needs of South Africa. SThe scheme aims to support South African graduate students of outstanding academic merit and leadership potential who would otherwise be unable to take up a place at Cambridge University. Up to three scholarships are offered each year. Successful applicants will be expected to return to South Africa to work or study after completing the course at Cambridge. The application deadline is 3rd December 2013.

Canon Collins Educational Trust Scholarships for African Students, UK
Canon Collins Educational Trust funded Scholarships for Postgraduate Students from Angola, Botswana, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe to study in UK universities. Scholarship Application Deadline: 4 August annually.
