UNESCO/Republic of Korea Co-Sponsored Fellowships Programme, 2014
UNESCO and the Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) are offering fellowships programme for the citizens of least developed countries (LDCs) in Africa and Asia-Pacific. These fellowships will enable candidates to conduct research work or participate in a training course in the field of Education at Asia-Pacific Centre of Education for International Understanding (APCEIU) in the Republic of Korea. Sir Ratan Tata Fellowships for South Asian Students in UK, 2014-2015
The Sir Ratan Tata Foundation and the London School of Economics & Political Science (LSE) invite applications for the Sir Ratan Tata research fellowships. Fellowships are available for a period of up to eight months during the 2014-15 academic year and based at the LSE Asia Research Centre (ARC). Application should be submitted till 12th May 2014.

UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Scholarships in Bhutan
The UNESCO Madanjeet Centre for South Asia Forestry Studies (UMCSAFS) at Ugyen Wangchuck Institute for Conservation and Environment (UWICE), Bumthang, Bhutan is offering scholarships for South Asian students. Scholarships will be awarded for three years Sustainable Development degree program to be undertaken at College of Natural Resources (CNR), Royal University of Bhutan in Lobesa, Punakha, Bhutan from July 2014 to July 2017. The application deadline is 30 April, 2014.

Undergraduate Excellence Scholarships at UWE Bristol University in UK, 2014
UWE Bristol University is offering excellence scholarships for Indian, Pakistani and Nepalese students. Up to three scholarships will be awarded for pursuing undergraduate degree program. To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must have achieved at least 85% in standard 12th (or equivalent) and have an offer of a place by 31 May 2014. Scholarships will cover 50% of tuition fee. The application deadline is 31st May 2014.

BU Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship
Bournemouth University is offering international scholarship for postgraduate (Masters) students for September 2014 entry. Scholarship is available for the students who have applied to study a full-time taught postgraduate (Masters) degree at BU. Applicants must be residents of Colombia, India, Nepal, Nigeria or Vietnam. Scholarship covers full tuition fee waiver. Application deadline is 31st May 2014.

HM King’s and HM Queen’s Scholarships
Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) is offering HM King’s and HM Queen’s Scholarships for Thai national or other nationalities in the Asian region. Full scholarships will be awarded for entire period of 22- month master degree program. King’s Scholarships are awarded in any of the disciplines offered at School of Engineering and Technology (SET) and School of Management (SOM). Application should be submitted till 31st March 2014.

Silk-Road Scholarship Program in Korea, 2014
SBS Foundation and Seoul National University are jointly funding Silk Road Scholarship for students wishing to study Humanities and Social Sciences. International applicants who are currently enrolling or who graduated from the eligible universities of the Silk-Road Scholarship Program and Potential graduate/PhD Students who applied for the designated department which participate with the Silk-Road Program for the Fall semester are eligible to apply. Application should be submitted till March 21, 2014.

RSM MBA Scholarships for International Students in Netherlands, 2015
Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University is offering MBA scholarships for international students. These scholarships are applicable for the international full-time MBA Programme commencing January 2015. Each scholarship value of 10,000 Euros will be waived from the MBA tuition fee. The application deadline is 14 October 2014.

TÜBITAK Graduate Scholarship Programme for Least Developed Countries in Turkey, 2014

MBA Full-time Scholarship for Female Students at University of Strathclyde in UK, 2014
University of Strathclyde offers full-time scholarship for female students from Asia/Africa. Candidates must demonstrate through their ideas, experience and achievements that they are an excellent team player, with a strong vision for the future. One scholarship of £10,000 will be automatically deducted from tuition fees. The application deadline is 31 May 2014.

GPTS Doctoral Scholarships for European and Asian Students in Germany, 2014
University of Heidelberg under Graduate Programme for Transcultural Studies is offering doctoral scholarships to European and Asian students. Applicants must hold an MA or equivalent in a discipline of the humanities or social sciences with an above-average grade (at least 1.7, B+, 2+, “magna cum laude”, or equivalent). Masters Fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine, 2014
Wellcome Trust is offering masters fellowships for junior researchers to gain research experience and high-quality research training at Master’s degree level. A Fellowship normally provides up to 30 months’ support. Fellows must be based in a low- or middle-income country for their research project. The application deadline is 15 August 2014.

International Mobility Program for Young Researchers
University of Padova is inviting applications for international mobility program available for young researchers of India or Nepal. The program awards eight grants for postdoctoral candidates to study and research in all the scientific areas related to university’s departments. Applicants must hold a PhD degree obtained within the last five years at the expiring date of the present call. Application should be submitted till 17th April 2014.

TWAS Prizes for Nepalese Students
The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) is awarding eight prizes of USD 15,000 each to individual scientists.  Each prize is accompanied by a medal. Nominations of women scientists are particularly encouraged. Prize is awarded on the basis of scientific merit. Candidates must be living in a developing country for at least ten years immediately prior to their nomination. The deadline for application is 28th February 2014.

Call for VLIR-UOS ICP PhD Scholarships for Nepalese Students
Scholarships for Nepalese students are available for pursuing PhD degree at a Flemish university. The research should be carried out on a development oriented subject; in a so-called sandwich programme. Applications found not to fulfill the eligibility criteria are submitted to the Bureau UOS for a final decision on their eligibility. Applications should be submitted between 24 February and 7 March 2014 (depending on the university).

Intermediate Fellowships for Nepalese Students
Wellcome Trust is offering research fellowships in Public Health and Tropical Medicine. Fellows must be based primarily in a low- and middle-income country. The fellowships are awarded for up to five years. Applicants must have a relevant high-quality publication record and show potential to become a future scientific leader. Preliminary application deadline is 25 April 2014 and full application deadline is 4 July 2014.

Wellcome Trust International Engagement Awards
Wellcome Trust is offering awards for research applicants for 2014 intake. Applicants must be either a biomedical scientist or health researcher or collaborating with a researcher, research group or institution to provide expertise in the area of biomedical science. The scholarships will provide up to £30,000 for three years. Applications should be submitted till 18th April 2014.

INSEAD MBA ’91 June Endowed Scholarship for Nepalese Students
The scholarship for Nepalese students is for pursuing Masters-MBA degree level. After the completion of the program the students have to return their own country. Scholarship will be awarded on the basis of financial need. The application deadlines are 31 January 2014 and 28 April 2014.

International Excellence Postgraduate Taught Scholarships for Nepalese Students
Swansea University offers international excellence scholarships for Nepalese students. Applicants must be enrolling on an eligible course at Swansea University for the first time in September 2014. Candidates must confirm acceptance of their scholarship, accept an offer of a place on a course and pay their £2000 deposit. The application deadline is 2nd June 2014.

Setsutaro Kobayashi Memorial Fund Research Grants 
Grants shall be conferred for individual research in the field of Humanities (Cultural Science) or Social Sciences. Awards are available for foreign students or researchers from an Asia-Pacific country who are currently staying in Japan. Maximum 1,200,000 yen per grantee will be available to approximately 32 grantees and the duration of the grant shall be for one year from the date of the grant. Application deadline is February 28, 2014.

RNTC Fellowships for Nepalese Students
RNTC is offering fellowships for developing countries’ students. These fellowships are available for professional journalists, programme-makers, broadcast trainers and managers. They cover the course fee (up to 50%), not the costs for travel and accommodation. RNTC Fellowships are unlike NFP fellowships. The fellowships will be awarded on academic and professional merit. The application deadlines differ from subject to subject.

Marshal Papworth Scholarships for Nepalese Students
The scholarships for Nepalese students are available for pursuing postgraduate and a short course programme. MSc & MA scholarships vary in value from £14,500 to £21,500 depending on location and chosen university/College. The scholarships for Nepalese students are designed to fund the majority of tuition fees, living expenses and travel costs. Last date for submitting applications is 24th March 2014.

BOF Doctoral Scholarships for Nepalese Students
University of Ghent is funding doctoral scholarships in Belgium. Scholarships are awarded to PhD students from developing countries who wish to carry out their PhD research at Ghent University. The candidate obtains a scholarship for 24 months which must be divided into several periods within a span of 4 years. The application deadline is March 4, 2014.

International Students House Residential Scholarships for Nepalese Students
Scholarships for Nepalese students are awarded for accommodation during the applicant’s study period in London. Preference will be given to postgraduate students who are studying a course that will provide skills to assist in the development of their home country. Students must study at a publicly funded tertiary level educational institution in London. The application deadline is May 31, 2014.

IDRC Doctoral Research Awards for Nepalese Students
Awards are available for pursuing doctoral studies at a Canadian university. Students must have completed coursework and passed comprehensive exams before taking up the award. Approximately 20 to 25 awards are offered per competition and will cover justifiable field research expenses up to CA$20,000 a year. Applications will close on April 2, 2014.

International Climate Protection Fellowships
Federal Environment Ministry’s (BMU) is funding International Climate Protection Fellowships for Non European and developing countries’ applicants. Up to 20 International Climate Protection Fellowships are granted annually for a period of one year in Germany. Fellowship amount includes a mobility lump sum and a contribution towards health and liability insurance. Online application will be submitted by 15 March 2014.

Georg Forster Research Fellowship (HERMES) for Nepalese Students
The Georg Forster Research Fellowship (HERMES) is awarded for postdoctoral researchers to conduct a self-selected, long-term research project (6-24 months) in cooperation. PhD or comparable academic degree (Ph.D., C.Sc. or equivalent), completed in no more than four years the date of application. Applications are accepted from 01.07.2013 to expected mid 2015.

Developing Solutions Masters Scholarships for Nepalese Students
Scholarships for Nepalese students are available for pursuing master’s degree level at University of Nottingham. Candidates must not be currently studying at a University of Nottingham campus or are not a University of Nottingham graduate. The application deadline is 25 April 2014.
