Scholarships for Uzbekistan Students in University of Manchester UK

OSI/FCO Chevening/University of Manchester Scholarships 2009-2010

The British Embassy Tashkent welcomes applications from citizens of Uzbekistan for one-year scholarships to read for a Masters degree in Politics at the University of Manchester. The scholarships are funded by the Open Society Institute, the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the University of Manchester. They cover tuition, travel and living costs (for one person only) up to 12 months.

Applicants have a choice of pathways within the following MA programs: Political Science, International Politics and Human Rights.

Applicants will be both nationals of and resident in Uzbekistan.

Applicants should have outstanding academic qualifications and good English. On completion of the scholarship, scholars are expected to return to their home country to resume their studies or work there.

3 copies of completed applications (one original and two photocopies) should be returned to one of the following addresses by 30 January 2009.
