Schweitzer announces new scholarship program

Montana high school seniors who perform 100 hours of community service before May 16, will be eligible for a $1,000 scholarship, Gov. Brian Schweitzer announced.
The scholarships may be used at any college or university in the state.
The Governor's Office of Community Service, the Montana Campus Compact and the Student Assistance Foundation are working together to offer $150,000 in scholarships.
