Scotland USA Graduate Scholarship

Guidelines for Applicants

US Nationals, who are normally resident in the USA, commencing full time postgraduate Masters programme at the University of Aberdeen in September 2008 are eligible to apply for the Scotland USA Graduate Scholarship.

3 scholarships valued at £2000 each will be awarded.

Eligibility

To be considered for the scholarships you will need to have applied to the University of Aberdeen for a place starting in September 2008; to be awarded one of the scholarships you must receive and then firmly accept an offer, either conditional or unconditional, of a place at the University. The scholarships can only be held by students of the University – they cannot be transferred to other institutions.

Priority will be given to students who do not already have additional scholarship funding (student loans excluded).

Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded broadly on the basis of academic merit with candidates requiring a GPA of 3.5 or better from a recognised American university.
