The University of Waikato is pleased to offer Sir Edmund Hillary Scholars’ Higher-Qualification Scholarship to pursue postgraduate (Taught), Postgraduate (Research) programme.
The award of a Sir Edmund Hillary Scholars’ Higher-Qualification Scholarship is accompanied by the expectation that Scholars strengthen their commitment to the three pillars of the Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarship Programme, namely leadership, academic achievement and performance in your chosen sport or art.
The University of Waikato, informally Waikato University, is a comprehensive university in Hamilton, New Zealand, with a satellite campus located in Tauranga.
Applicants whose first language is not English are required to provide satisfactory evidence of English language proficiency, generally in the form of an IELTS or TOEFL score.
Course Level: Scholarships are available for pursuing Postgraduate (Taught), Postgraduate (Research) programme.
Study Subject: Scholarships are awarded for studying any of the courses offered by the University of Waikato.
Scholarship Award: The scholarship covers full Tuition Fees.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for scholarship:
For current Hillary Scholars who intend to enrol in a higher level qualification in A Semester 2017 and who wish to apply for permission to receive the Sir Edmund Hillary Scholarship for the consecutive period of enrolment required to complete the new qualification. The Scholarship will cover the recipient’s full domestic tuition fees.
Nationality: Domestic students can apply for these Sir Edmund Hillary scholarships.
How to Apply: Completed applications can be scanned and emailed to scholarships-at-waikato.ac.nz or it can also be sent by post or in person.
