The University of Northampton is offering Sir John Lowther Scholarship to undertake postgraduate study within the Faculty of Arts, Science and Technology.

The aim of the scholarship is to provide the good learning experience to UK students at the University of Northampton.

The University of Northampton is a public university based in Northampton, Northamptonshire. The university also offers accommodation at Belinda Ferrison house in the Mounts area of the town centre. The Institute aims to enable transformational learning experiences through inspirational teaching.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

  • Applications will not be considered without a completed tutor’s report
  • The recipient must submit a report on how the financial award has been spent and the benefits they have received
  • Breaks from study through intermission or illness will result in the termination of the scholarship
  • Should the terms and conditions not be met, termination of the scholarship or award is at the discretion of the Trustees
  • The recipient agrees to participate in press and PR opportunities as required and to their reports being used on the University’s website and in printed publications

Nationality: Students from the UK are eligible to apply for this scholarship.

English language Requirements: Students need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written.

How to Apply: Applicants can apply via email.

  • Successful applicants will receive an email to confirm the outcome of their application
  • They will then receive a letter which they will be asked to sign and return, to confirm that they agree to the terms and conditions

  • Breaks from study or long-term illness will result in the termination of the scholarship
  • Should the terms and conditions not be met, termination of the scholarship or award is at the discretion of the Trustees
  • The recipient agrees to participate in press and PR opportunities as required and to their reports being used on the University’s website and in printed publications
  • Any additional terms and conditions will be confirmed to the recipient in writing
