The Sir Joseph Rotblat Alumni Scholarship, which has been made possible through the generous donations of alumni through the Benefactors’ Fund, has been launched to specifically support alumni of the University who are returning as postgraduate research students; recognizing both their academic merit and financial need.

Applicants must:
- have achieved a first-class degree at the University of Liverpool or a distinction in a postgraduate taught degree at the University of Liverpool;
- be able to demonstrate that they would be unable to undertake a postgraduate research program without the award (a written case for support demonstrating financial need is required);
- not also be in receipt of other Government/commercial sponsorship/studentship funding in excess of £5000 per annum with the exception of an offer to cover your tuition fees.
