The University of Auckland is providing the Sir Robert Jones Scholarships in Philosophy for outstanding students for the academic year 2019-20.
The main purpose of the Scholarship is to encourage excellence in the study of Philosophy by assisting undergraduate students of the University of Auckland who have completed their first semester of Stage 1 Philosophy and who are majoring in Philosophy.

Eligibility
- Awarded to undergraduate students of The University of Auckland who have completed their first semester of Stage 1 Philosophy, who have paid the fees, or arranged to pay the fees for full-time enrolment, and who is majoring in Philosophy.
- The basis of selection will be academic merit as determined by the results of Stage 1 courses in the Philosophy schedule.
- The Scholarships are tenable by students who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents of New Zealand.

How to Apply: Students have to enroll in bachelors degree coursework in philosophy at the university.
Benefits: The scholarship will provide the award amount up to $5,000 pa.
