Snowdon Trust Master’s Scholarships for International Students in UK

To accelerate exceptional disabled students through master’s programmes into leadership positions to create change, the University of Glasgow is establishing the Snowdon Trust Master’s Scholarships for the academic year 2023-2024. 

The scholarship can be accessed by students from foreign countries who are pursuing their master’s studies at the University of Glasgow. The scholarship is valued at a total of £30,000 which is expected to cover tuition fees and maintenance allowance.

Eligibility

  • Eligible Countries: International students can apply. 
  • Eligible Course or Subjects: The students can apply for an eligible MA, MSc, MRes/MPhil and MBA programme of choice offered at the University of Glasgow. 
  • Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible, the applicants must meet all the following/given criteria:
  • The applicants must be disabled students. 
  • The applicants must be from an eligible country.
  • The applicants must be applying for an eligible master’s programme

How to Apply

  • How to Apply: Students are required to first apply for admission in their programme of their choice at the University of Glasgow. Scholarship application must be submitted separately. 
  • Supporting Documents: The students are required to present the following documents to the university:
  • A copy (or copies) of official degree certificate(s) 
  • A copy (or copies) of official academic transcript(s), showing full details of subjects studied and grades/marks obtained.
  • Official English translations of the certificate(s) and transcript(s)
  • One reference letter on headed paper
  • Evidence of English language ability 
  • Any additional documents required for this program
  • A copy of the photo page of the passport (Non-EU students only)
  • Admission Requirements: The applicants must have a 2:1 Honours degree in a field relevant to the programme they are applying for.
  • Language Requirement: The students must meet the English language requirements of their desired programme. 

Benefits

The Scholarship winners will be awarded up to a total of £30,000 divided between a contribution towards fees (up to £15,000) and an allowance /maintenance stipend (up to £15,000 divided between the terms) by the University of Glasgow.
