About the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography Foundation
The Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS) Foundation is a charitable, nonprofit whose programs include educational scholarships and grants to members of the SDMS who have a demonstrated need. A limited number of grants and scholarships are available.
Our grants and scholarships are made possible by donations from SDMS members and the sonography community. Please consider making a donation to assist your fellow SDMS members.

General Eligibility
Any current SDMS member in good standing (excluding Corporate/Business/Institution or Supporting categories) may apply for SDMS Foundation grants or scholarships. However, scholarships can only be awarded for attendance
at educational institutions in the United States or Canada.
Members of the SDMS Foundation Board of Directors, SDMS Board of Directors, SDMS employees, and substantial donors (more than $5,000), including their families, are not eligible for SDMS Foundation grants or scholarships.

Am David Ssekamatte, A Ugandan by nationality, working as a program Officer at Uganda Scout Association in HIV Prevention among young people. I have been admitted by University of London External System, for the Post Graduate Diploma in Public Health, but the fees are so high given our pay. Is there a way I can get a scholarship for my dream course so that I can achieve my dream of Public health work?

am a lab.technologist having a higher national diploma.am working as an EEG Technologist.i learnt the eeg procedure on the bench.i will like to have a formal training in the diagnostic procdure.i have got to know there is an extensive eeg course being run at BCIT in canada.it is my strong desire to be trained and then sit for the examination by the recognized body.my difficulty is that,the fees is very expensive and so would like to know if i could be helped through your esteem outfit by means of sponsorship

A number of scholarships in medicine have been forthcoming but the problem is how to win the right scholarship.Like for me who is a high school graduate, has a diploma in agricultural engineering and an african based in zambia wanting to pursue a career in medicine.Please help.
