2018 South East Asia Woman in Management and Finance Scholarship, Australia

The Macquarie University is inviting applications for South East Asia Woman in Management and Finance Scholarship. The scholarship provides a partial tuition fee scholarship for outstanding female international students to study at Macquarie Graduate School of Management (MGSM) or Macquarie University Applied Finance Centre (MAFC).

Scholarship has been designed to recognize academic excellence and provide financial assistance for female students from selected countries within the Southeast Asia region.

Macquarie University is a public research university based in Sydney, Australia, in the suburb of Macquarie Park. Founded in 1964 by the New South Wales Government, it was the third university to be established in the metropolitan area of Sydney.

Scholarship Award: The Macquarie University South East Asia Woman in Management and Finance Scholarship is a Partial Scholarship awarded to 15 eligible students every year. The scholarship covers 30% of the tuition fee.

Eligibility for the Scholarship:

Eligible Countries:  Female candidates from Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam are eligible to apply.

Entrance Requirements:  Applicants must:

  • Be a female.
  • Be a citizen of one of the following countries: Cambodia, East Timor, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam.
  • Must hold a full offer from for one of the following three programs, and the study duration must be at least one year: Master of Management, Master of Business Administration, Master of Applied Finance and Master ofApplied Finance (Advanced)
  • Commence the study at Macquarie University North Ryde campus in 2018. Commencement may not be deferred.
  • Have applied for a course which has a full-time study load.

English Language Requirements: If English is not your first language then you will need to show that your English language skills are at a high enough level to succeed in your studies.

  • Applicants must complete an online course application form. Once your course application has been processed, you will receive a Macquarie University Student Number which is compulsory to submit the online scholarship application form.
  • Applicants must complete an online scholarship application form and type “SEA Woman” in the Scholarship Name field.
