The Cyprus State Scholarship Foundation grants a number of scholarships for citizens of the Republic of Cyprus and/or citizens from member States of the European Union. Scholarships are available for graduate and postgraduate studies (Master level) in Cyprus or abroad.
The Ministry of Finance seeks to contribute to building a robust, efficient and flexible state and, through economic development, to promote social justice by promoting the improvement of the standard of living of all citizens.

Scholarship Award: The level for every scholarship for undergraduate studies amounts to €3,000 per annum and to a total of €3,000 for postgraduate studies.
Scholarship can be taken in Cyprus and Abroad
Eligibility: Applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements:
- Persons who possess Cypriot nationality and/or are citizens of a Member State in the European Union, on condition that for a period of three years, before starting their studies, they were residing in Cyprus for a continuous period of at least thirty months and still reside in Cyprus during their application period.
- Persons who are not Cypriot citizens or citizens of a Member State in the European Union on condition that:
(i) One of their parents is a Cypriot citizen or a citizen of a Member State in the European Union who works and permanently resides in Cyprus; and
(ii) They permanently reside in Cyprus and have graduated from a Secondary Education School in Cyprus.
Nationality: Citizens of the Republic of Cyprus and/or citizens from member States of the European Union are eligible to apply.
Entrance Requirement: Applicants must have a previous degree.
How to Apply: Applications and all the supporting documentation and certificates must be handed over to the Secretariat of the Cyprus State Scholarship Foundation or sent by registered mail to the Cyprus State Scholarship Foundation.
