Teaching Assignments Abroad at the Indian Council for Cultural Relations

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for inclusion it ICCR’s recommendatory panel of Bharatnatyam Dance, Kathak Dance, Hindustani Vocal, Tabla and Yoga teachers-cum-performers for teaching assignments at ICCR’s Culture Centers abroad.
Essential Qualification and Experience Required
Diploma/Certificate course in the respective discipline from Government/renowned Cultural Institutions/Universities with at least 5 years of teaching experience through the merium ol English; adequate knowledge ol history, philosophy and traditions of lndian alt and culture in general and in respective dsciptines would be needed tor providing training and giving demonstrations at the Cultural Centres abroad.
Age: Below 55 years as on 31 .07.2009
Terms and Conditions of Appointment
The services ol the seleued Teachers would be requisitioned from his/ her parent department on deputation (foreign service) terms. Basic pay wil belixedinthe Pay Band~2olFls. 9600-34800vritl1GradePayofFls. 4200/- p.m. Allowances and other benefits will be governed by the CounciI’s Flules as prevalent at the time of actual appointment. The assignment will be for a period of two years and will be subject to the provisions of the Agreement to be executed by the selected Teachers with the Council in the prescrted form. He/she is entitled to take only their spouse at CounciI’s expenses.
