Newspaper launches medical awards, scholarship fund
Ho Chi Minh City-based Tuoi Tre newspaper Friday launched a program that will provide awards and scholarships to devoted physicians and medical staff in central provinces.
The Dang Thuy Tram Awards and Scholarships Program, named after a national heroine, military doctor and martyr, will allocate prizes of VND10 million (US$628) and 160 training scholarships for medical staff in 10 central provinces from Quang Binh to Ninh Thuan.
