Pathology is the study of diseases and for that matter cancers. I have being working at the Department of Pathology of the Korle -Bu Teaching Hospital / University Of Ghana Medical School after my BSc education as a cytologist. It has always being my wish to get a scholarship to pursue Phd in Cancer research which will enable me help in Cancer Research in Ghana where Cancer Research has not advanced and/or any where that my services will be needed so this is an opportunity for me to fulfill my dream. At school and work place i have been awarded with honoury certificates for dedicated service and best worker respectively. In a nonformal way ,i have assisted in the training of many Health Professionals. Being one of the few cytologist in Ghana i have provided dutifully dedicated service at the Cytology Unit of my Department. My dedication to service and academic work earned me the opportunity to be the only student in Ghana admitted this academic year 2009/2010 to pursue Mphil Pathology.
