   The Ethiopian economy remains heavily dependent on agriculture, which accounts for about 50 percent of the GDP. An estimated 85% of the population gains its livelihood directly or indirectly from agricultural production. Coffee exports accounts for more than 65 percent of foreign exchange earnings, while processed and semi-processed hides and skins are the second important foreign exchange earners.
   The level of development of the manufacturing sector in Ethiopia is at its infancy; and the country’s industrial base is very low. The share of intermediate and capital goods industry is very insignificant. The industrial sector is heavily dependent on imports of semi-processed goods, raw materials, spare -parts and fuel. In addition to imported inputs, the factories depend upon backward and subsistence agriculture for their raw material demand.
   It is only fourteen years since Ethiopia began moving from a state run economy to the market economy. The country is in the process of taking various reform measures.
   The industries include food processing and beverages, automotive industries which include production of components and parts, textile and textile products and garments, leather and leather products, fertilizers (mini-Plant) and chemicals, drugs and pharmaceuticals are some among others.
   The “service” sector which consists of Trade, Transport and Communications, Banking, Insurance and Real State, Public Administration and Defense, Education, Health and Domestic and other personal services has increased
   The government has initiated a privatization program since 1995/96. Since this period of time, 85% of 909 factories have been privatized. However the number of manufacturing industries at the verge of the EPRDF led government was 283 operating only 20% of their manufacturing capacity compared with 70% currently.
   The government uses different mechanisms to guide the economy on the right track which lead it to the way of development. Among the others, helping the private sector to be the leader in the free market economy is the crucial one. The Development Bank of Ethiopia provides long, medium & short term loan with technical supports for privet sector on behalf of the government.
   My name is Melsachew Tadesse I am Ethiopian, Africa. I am living here since I was born. I am graduated BA degree in Economics with 3.09 average cumulative point from Hawassa University, Ethiopia in 2006. I am working in Development Bank of Ethiopia as a Loan Officer. I have participated in socially worthwhile project identification, feasibility study & providing financial facilities starting from October 2007 to date. I am interested and able to upgrade myself to Masters Degree, but I can’t afford the cost which need for the program. As a result, I am forced to look for the international programs which give free scholarship assistance. I would like to know how I can have access to Master’s degree scholarship in Economics or any other related options, with this you will help me to upgrade my contribution to my country’s economic development pace there by my Country Ethiopia.

    I am an Ethiopian having LLB with CGPA of 3.57. Currently I am in Oromia institute of justice and professionals training and research center as a trainee. I also have another BA degree in foreign language and literature (English Education) together with six years of teaching experience from elementary to preparatory classes. Yet I want to upgrade my educational level to second degree (LLM) or any second degree related to my field of study because I strongly want to play a role in solving the problem in the administration of justice up on returning to my country. But I could not upgrade my qualification to LLM due to shortage of money. Because I used my resources exhaustively being a family man snatching from the mouths’ of my kids during my first degrees study. Therefore, I couldn’t stretch my hands farther to help myself. Please would you help me in realizing my dreams?

    Surfing through the net I saw the website of this University, I have completed my Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering. I want to specialize in ENVIRONMENTAL ENGINEERING or CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT or PROJECT MANAGEMENT or WATER RESOURCES while doing Masters in Civil Engineering. I want to know further details about the program that this University is offering. Information regarding the Academic sessions, Availability of Scholarship, Academic details that we need to submit and additional test Scores such as IELTS, TOEFL.     I have been graduated in Dentistry from Pakistan, LUMHS, Jamshoro,Sindh…
    I belong to Afghanistan and recently working there.
    There is huge scarcity of Dental surgeons in Afghanistan.
    I would like to concentrate on educating a big mass of students in Afghanistan because 95% people are suffering from oral diseases including caries….
    So I have keen interest in obtaining a Master degree in dentistry.
    But my economical conditions couldn’t allow me to have access to the Master Degree…..
    So kindly requesteed to give me an opportunity for higher education in dentistry…

    Living in a country where by you see a very diversed natural fixture unified at the same time creating harmony. Think of experiencing two extreme weather conditions, a high land and a low land, more than eighty nations and nationalities having different culture and languages.

    I was born and grew up in such a country where nature binds with the life stile of the society. When I was a child, I haven’t gained perception values to notices what I see around, but I used to sketch on a rough paper and at the back of my pad. On the other hand, my father is a painter. He used to let me do what I wanted and restricted him self from influencing me. When I joined the high school, I started to participate in many art competition, among these I won three competition forwarded by UNFPA- FNUAP, the rest two were local competitions. At that teenager hood, I developed perceiving things the way people don’t see in a very artistic manner. What was silly for my friends became important and surprising to me. I used to notice details and harmony in a vary natural way. After I took E.S.L.C.E/ Ethiopian school leaving certificate/ I new that I was not good at the rest of the courses so my intention was only and only to pass the interans exam to join the art school. But the other problem was the probability to join the university was so tight that the school only accepts twenty five students among 700-1000 competitors. Trying to join the art school two or three time is common for most competitors, but I can able to join at my second trial. I was so happy at the time and my father was too. At the moment of ecstasy, I visualize my time colorful and harmonized art life letting go. My previous colorless life away. I started thinking of the idle brushes and canvas, clearing their dusts to create a very natural life in harmony. After four years of training, I graduated from ADDIS ABABA UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF FINE ARTS AND DESIGN with Bachelor of Fine Arts. Currently, I am practicing in private art studio. Now, those societal diversities and natural features that was silent when I was a child whispers in my mind.

    “Hello the empty cup, can you think of being some where in the middle of no where? Can you achieve a master touch being bounded by ample constraints and challenges? Can you be simple with out being easy or complex?” I used to hear such sounds coming from no where telling me to fall in the fertile land deepening my roots and growing my leaves to give shadow and fruit.
