The Pharmacy Guild of Australia 2009 Scholarship

If you’re from a rural area and are planning to enrol, or are currently enrolled, as a full-time student in any pharmacy undergraduate or graduate degree, you could be eligible for a scholarship of up to $40,000.

The Rural and Remote Pharmacy Workforce Development Program recognises the key role that pharmacists play in maintaining the health of Australians and, in particular, aims to ensure the continued viability of rural pharmacies.

In 2009, 30 scholarships valued at $10,000 per annum will be offered encourage, and enable, students from rural communities to embark on a fulfilling and rewarding career in pharmacy.

A further three scholarships of $15,000 per annum are also available for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander students.
