The Randall McDonald Scholarship for Aboriginal Health Research is awarded to an indigenous student of exceptional research potential undertaking a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) either Masters or Doctoral study.
This scholarship will support a higher degree by research (Masters or Doctoral study) undertaken by an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.

Eligibility:
-Be an Indigenous (Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander) Australian.
-Be enrolled as a full-time student or willing to commence full-time study Have been accepted (or will be accepted) into a higher degree by research program within the Faculty of Health Sciences.
-Be prepared to undertake coursework recommended by the supervisor Have proposed research in the field of cardiovascular disease or another chronic disease that contributes to the premature mortality of Aboriginal Australians.
