Curtin University offers Randall McDonald Memorial Scholarship for Postgraduate Research Students in the field of Health Sciences, Australia. The Randall McDonald Scholarship for Aboriginal Health Research is awarded to an indigenous student of exceptional research potential undertaking a Higher Degree by Research (HDR) either Masters or Doctoral study.

This scholarship will support a higher degree by research (Masters or Doctoral study) undertaken by an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person.

Eligibility:

-Be an Indigenous (Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander) Australian.
-Be enrolled as a full-time student or willing to commence full-time study Have been accepted (or will be accepted) into a higher degree by research program within the Faculty of Health Sciences.
-Be prepared to undertake coursework recommended by the supervisor Have proposed research in the field of cardiovascular disease or another chronic disease that contributes to the premature mortality of Aboriginal Australians.
