Trent University is offering entrance scholarships for undergraduate students. Both Canadian and international students applying to Trent will be automatically considered for Trent University entrance scholarships.

English is the primary language of instruction at Trent University. All prospective students are required to demonstrate a minimum level of English before they’re admitted.

Course Level: Scholarships are provided to learn any of the courses offered by Trent University in Canada.

Study Subject: Scholarships are available for pursuing undergraduate degree level at Trent University in Canada.

For Trent University entrance scholarships: These range in value from CDN$1,000 to CDN$3,000.
For IB entrance scholarships will provide CDN$1,000.

Eligibility: Applicants can apply for this scholarship if they fulfill the given criteria:

-Canadian and International students applying to Trent will be automatically considered for Trent University entrance scholarships, awarded for academic excellence.

-All international students applying for admission to Trent on the basis of IB diploma will be automatically considered for IB Entrance Scholarships.

Nationality: Canadian and international students can apply for the scholarships.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: All students, Canadian and International, applying to Trent will be automatically considered for Trent University Entrance Scholarships, awarded for academic excellence.

English language Requirements: English is the primary language of instruction at Trent University. All prospective students are required to demonstrate a minimum level of English before they’re admitted. This can be achieved through presenting English proficiency test results OR qualifying for exemption based on academic history and/or English results in certain international curricular.

Test Requirements: TOEFL: Order official TOEFL Score Report to be sent directly to Trent through ETS. Trent’s institutional code is 0896. 86 IBT or 580 PBT with a minimum TWE score of 4.5
– IELTS; 6.5, with no band below 6.0
– CAEL: 60 MELAB 85, with no part below 80
– CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English) by University of Cambridge, English as a Foreign Language (EFL) Division : Grade of ‘C’
– PEARSON PTE ACADEMIC: 59

Supporting Material: Scholarship contains the following documents:
A completed “Application for Trent International Global Citizen Scholarships and Awards” form. An essay in which applicant outline their academic aspirations and future career goals and how Trent University can help them in achieving these goals (guideline: no longer than 1 page, range of words 300-500). A detailed record of their service and leadership, and an essay indicating how their service or leadership has been a meaningful part of their education. The committee is most interested in specific examples of their accomplishments. (guideline: list of activities in a bullet or table format; essay – no longer than 1 page, range of words 300-500). An essay discussing a local, national or international issue and its personal importance to them (no longer than 1 page; range of words 350-500). Three letters of reference, including at least two from teachers/former teachers. There is no special reference form, however, the letter must address the following points: the applicant’s academic work and intellectual qualities, involvement in extra-curricular activities and community events, leadership skills and character. Please note: Reference letters can be e-mailed directly by the referee to [email protected] Documentation of Income: Official statement of annual salary from parent(s) employer(s) on company letterhead OR most recent statement of income tax returns from parent(s). Do not include additional documents (extra essays and reference letters, certificates, dvd, etc.) PART II: ADMISSION DOCUMENTS* I have submitted my admission application on-line and am including academic documents with this application. How to Apply: All students applying to Trent will be automatically considered for Trent University Entrance Scholarships. Documents should be sent via post to the Trent International Program office.
