There are various scholarships which are offered to twins and other multiples, especially identical twins and triplets. Well, the scholarship-positions has compiled a few schools that may offer you a discount for being a twin or multiple! Though the financial burden of educating twins can increase. Sometimes it may seem too great to be overcome but there are financial aid advantages to matriculating at the same time. Not only are parents aware of the problem of educating twins, but so are many schools around the country. That is why some of them have decided to sponsor scholarship funds that can help out twins. There are a number of associations and colleges that recognize the special requirement of financing the twins and award them exclusive scholarships. The Illinois Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs Scholarships

The Illinois Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs, Inc. is offering one $300 Scholarship based on need and four $100 Scholarships chosen at random to any mother or father of multiples. It awards four scholarships each year, not to actual twins but to the mothers or fathers of twin siblings who want to continue their own education.

Massachusetts Mothers of Twins Association (MMOTA)92787330

The association offers scholarships for qualifying members. Eligible applicants must be current, active members of MMOTA-Founding Chapter.  “Current” means that the member’s dues are paid for the current fiscal year.  “Active” is defined as having belonged to MMOTA-Founding Organization for a minimum of two (2) years and attending meetings regularly.  All eligible members are encouraged to apply. One $500.00 scholarship or two $250.00 scholarships will be awarded at the discretion of the Scholarship Committee at the May general meeting. The deadline for completed applications is April 15.

Layton Frazier McKinley Scholarship

Kelley School of Business at Indiana University – Bloomington provides the Layton Frazier McKinley Scholarship to twins enrolled there, with preference given to identical twins. The scholarship rewards students in the Kelley School of Business who have at least a “B+” grade average, with a preference given to twins, especially identical twins.

Twins Days Festival

This festival is organized for families of these special multiples. This festival awards a $1,000 scholarship to a pair of twins each year, to help with college expenses. The Twins Days Festival makes a small scholarship ($1000 at the time of this writing) available to help qualified twins with upcoming college expenses. One pair of twins is selected each year to be awarded this scholarship.

Wilson College in Pennsylvania scholarships

Wilson College offers a scholarship to one set of twins and one set of triplets annually. The scholarship for twins is 45% of tuition for each student; both students need to enroll full-time each semester. For triplets, the scholarship is 45% of tuition; all three students need to be enrolled full-time each semester. These scholarships cannot be combined with other merit or affiliation scholarships awarded by the college with the exception of the SEMLAR and Disert awards.

Paula Nieto Twin Scholarship

This scholarship is established by family and friends in memory of Paula Nieto, a twin. Sophomore twins.

Quinnipiac Multiple Sibling Award

This award is for full-time, undergraduate siblings concurrently in attendance at Quinnipiac, are eligible to receive an additional $2,000 award per year, in addition to their regular financial aid award. This award is applicable toward tuition, room and board and is renewable each year in which undergraduate eligible siblings are concurrently in attendance.
