I have completed my PhD on Psychology and I have applied for “University Grants Commissions (UGC) – Post Doctoral Fellowship to Women Candidates for the year 2008-09″ on September, 2009. I haven’t received any acknowledgement till now and have no idea whether my application got selected or rejected as in UGC web site nothing is available about the status of this fellowship. If anyone will let me know the status of my application it’ll be of great help as in worst case I can use my proposal to other places.

I have a Ph.D on Toni Morrison, Bessie Head and Mariama Ba and an M.A. in Comparative Literature from Rutgers U.S.A. Have several publications including an international one.
