UGC Project Fellow Position Osmania University India
Applications are invited for the following position in UGC sponsored research project entitled “Bioprospecting in Andrographis paniculata using methyl jasmonate (MJ) elicited in vitro transformed cultures” w. e. f. August 01, 2008.
Project Fellow : One
Fellowship : Rs. 8,000/- per Month
Qualifications : M. Sc. in Genetics, Biotechnology or Life Sciences with knowledge in plant biotechnology and molecular biology are encouraged to apply. Candidates who have done PG level project research work on plant tissue culture and genetic transformation will be given preference.
Truly interested candidates having inclination for research fulfilling the above requirements shall only apply in the prescribed application form obtained from the Osmania University Press. Completed application form along with a DD of Rs. 10/- in favor of Registrar, Osmania University accompanied by CV, research experience and Xeroxed attested copies of certificates should reach to the address given bellow on or before August 14, 2008. No TA or DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview and selection is subjected to the Osmania University rules.
Note: The position is purely temporary and it is up to the duration of the project three years only. The selected candidate can have the opportunity to register for Ph. D. degree.

That’s very nice of u.actually i am appointed as a Project Fellow in a UGC Major project and there is a hike in scholarship from last Sept,2006.But there is no mention for Poject fellows and we are not getting hiked scholarship and i’s being 2 years now.So I shall be very thakful to you if u give some information reagarding this.
