Scholarship Description: The UN Women National Committee Australia supports the work of UN Women by raising public awareness of gender and development issues. Through education women gain the knowledge to put in place policies, services and resources to fulfill the UN Women’s mission for gender equality and the empowerment of women.

Duration of award(s): The scholarship is tenable for a maximum four years of part–time study, where the recipient fulfills requirements for the award of the degree.

What does it cover? The scholarship covers full tuition fees for the Master of Business Administration. The scholarship is tenable for a maximum four years of part–time study, where the Recipient fulfills requirements for the award of the degree. Recipients for the award must complete a minimum 18 credit points annually. Tuition fees will be cleared following census dates (March 31 and August 31). All recipients receiving this award are required to pay their Student Services and Amenities fee.

Selection criteria: Women applicants are eligible for the UN Women’s National Committee Australia Scholarship when offered admission to the degree, Master of Business Administration.
An applicant for admission to candidature for the degree must:-have completed a bachelor’s degree, graduate diploma/certificate or equivalent at an institution approved by the School and at a standard acceptable to the School; and
-have met the work experience requirements of the Business School (approximately 3-5 years of professional management experience).
-In exceptional circumstances, the School may admit applicants without these qualifications if, in the opinion of the School, they have qualifications and evidence of experience and achievement sufficient to successfully undertake the award.
